    Room Service Let's This Hotel Down

    The hotel room overall is comfortable, and the amenities are reasonable. What let's this hotel down as a buisness traveller is the room service. I write this while looking at a bowl of overcooked Linguini in an watery, flavourless cream sauce which was meant to include mushrooms and garlic. The sauce had zero mushrooms and no garlic flavour. The added chicken, which is the only part of the dish I could eat, had the only flavour of the dish. The small tin of baked beans I have in my luggage will save the day and be more palatable, even cold.     Kind of like a Premier Inn, but probably a bit better

    Nothing wrong with CP, it just wasn't special, a bit plain and tired around the edges. That said, it was in line with its price point, i.e., cheap as chips. Bedroom had the facilities you would want, sleep was unfortunately disturbed at 3AM by a bunch of rowdy Shielas in the car park - this possibly being the downside of being adjacent to a casino.     Very good hotel. It's located just a couple of miles from the town center and some 10 miles from the airport. The room was large featuring all necessary amenities. Nice front desk staff. The pool looked nice but we didn't use it because of flies endemic to this region of the country. Ample parking.

    The room was very large, but unfortunately the space wasn’t used as well as it could have been. With the size available, it really could have benefited from a better bar/kitchenette setup — including proper glasses, cutlery, and a larger bar fridge. These small touches would have made a big difference, especially for longer stays.The room also had quite a few strange-looking bugs present, which was a bit off-putting. In addition, the shower was missing its door — it was obvious one had previously been there but was never replaced — which resulted in the bathroom floor being flooded after every shower.On the positive side, the pool facilities were good and well maintained. The location is convenient, with a public gym right next door, a casino on site, and several good dining options within the grounds, making it easy to relax or find somewhere to eat without leaving the complex.Overall, the hotel has solid facilities and a good location, but the room fit-out and maintenance details let it down a little. With some attention to these issues, it could be a much stronger stay.     Tatty. Sink cracked, fridge dirty, furniture doors don’t fit, windows dirty inside, door to room didn’t close properly, Tali restaurant not fine dining, chairs in restaurant chipped and seats marked. Staff fine and pool had swimming lanes which is a plus for a hotel pool.
