    Holiday in Alice and day trip to Uluru.

    Check in was ok but staff gave wrong information. They they will hold $50 but it was per day. He gave wrong price of breakfast that was $38 instead of $28 . Also could not give me information about the bus to the town. The room was nice and cleaning staff were lovely too. It was far to the town and taxi fares vary frim$10.50 to $14.

    We had a 3 night stay here as part of a tour group. Our room was very comfortable and a good size. Staff were very pleasant and polite. Breakfast buffet was extensive. The only loss of a star was the pool b heating had not been turned on and it was very cold to swim for the winter season in. Having said that a passing mention in conversation to a member of management had it switched on- sadly too late for us to enjoy.

    I am lucky enough to stay here for work. The property is quite large with a pool at the centre of it. Make sure you know exactly which way to your room otherwise it is a long walk. There are DIY laundry facilities available. There is a bar, restaurant and the award winning Hanuman Restaurant. The property backs onto the Golf Course and there is a gate access for short cut.

    We recently stayed at the Doubletree Alice Springs location for two separate nights (March 31 and April 04). Both stays were excellent.The room was pleasant and the facilities were also very good. However, what stood out for us and made the stay so exceptional were your front desk staff members.From the initial friendly welcome, through to our checkout we interacted with several of them (too many names to list). Without exception they were welcoming, friendly and smoothly efficient.Nice facilities are all well and good but It’s the staff that truly make a hotel, and the Doubletree Alice Springs staff certainly made our stay memorable one.For anyone considering a stay in Alice Springs - no need to do endless research, just book the Doubletree.

    The Customer is always right

    Today, 21/3/26, during breakfast I witnessed how the chef arrogantly raised his voice defending his omelet. A customer twice advised the waiter of his taste and preference, and the chef and the supervisor attacked the customer, defending themselves. The customer then sent them off with a famous business phrase: “The customer is always right.” Yes, for me I agree with the customer. If I were the chef and the supervisor, I would apologise to the customer instead of raising my voice and defending my actions. Very unprofessional and unhospitable.
