  Convenient to hospital but not disability friendly

  We have stayed here several times for medical appointments at RBWH as it is right across the road so very convenient. Its also covered by the patient travel subsidy so if you are staying for medical reasons you only pay part of the invoice.Rooms are lovely. Very clean and modern. You can hear outside traffic, especially sirens as its next to hospital but hey, your in a very busy spot. Noise cancelling earphones help.The downside of this accommodation is that is not disability friendly for a hospital across from the hospital. There is step access on either side of building which wouldn't be fun if your on crutches. The wheelchair lift on either side of building was out of order (it was out order 18 months ago when we stayed too). Which means the Wheelchair access is via the parking garage which means you have to come in via Walden lane which is not wheelchair friendly at all The sidewalk is so narrow the wheelchair wheels were scraping on brick wall and coming other way we had to walk on road. We couldn't just push wheelchair onto driveway to enter as the gutter is too high. So it means trying to navigate the very narrow sidewall. Very disappointing for accommodation so close to a major hospital where im sure many people require wheelchairs.

  Annex Appartment is very conveniently located near the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital. Just have to walk across the road. The ladies at the desk are great and very helpful. The car lift is fun once you know how to work it. We had room 506, we found it to be adequate, however cleaning needs more attention to detail. There were black marks on the walls and skirting boards. Corners in the kitchen area have not been cleaned properly and the rubbish bin hadn't been wiped down on the outside. Food stains were evident. The outdoor furniture on the balcony was very dusty and we had to wipe it down before we used it. Overall the furniture was shabby, especially the back cushion on the lounge. The TV cabinet had stains down the side of it, possibly from a leaking air conditioner. The bathrooms were very clean. The shower in bedroom 2 didnt drain properly and nearly overflowed on to the floor. The bed was relatively comfy and was presented well. We came across a cleaner in the elevator. There was a piece of paper on the floor. He didn't bother to pick it up. Isn't that what he's supposed to do? For $199 per night we felt it should have been cleaner. Otherwise a great convient place to stay.

  With group. Multiple apartments have blood on walls & furniture, drains blocks with hair, dirty, needs deep clean & renovation desperately. Our apartment wasn’t horrible but a few in our group asked to move or left early.

  A Great Place to Stay in Brissy…..(a good idea to book a car parking space

  This apartment building is a great place to stay in central Brisbane, close to buses. We had our car and managed to secure a car park for only $15 per day. It would have been difficult without that car park and these car parks are limited. We were lucky. The apartment is well appointed, beautifully clean and comfortable. The complex has good security which is important to us.

  Convenient location, really friendly staff. The room is slightly dated (the artwork on wall has visible mould when the afternoon sun shone in) and the smell of bleach on arrival was quite strong. In saying that, the bed and pillows were comfortable, kitchen and room size is great, clean and had everything we needed. The fact that it is very affordable to stay here and the proximity to the city is only small uber fee away. We would stay again and wish to thank the lovely reception staff.
