    Absolutely can’t fault Best Western Northlakes, booked a double basic room and was upgraded to a studio apartment with kitchenette and laundry which was a pleasant and much appreciated surprise for free. The room clean and bed comfortable, staff at reception and Cafe are very friendly. Perfect location close to shops snd great walk track around Lake Eden.

    Came with low expectations due to being hacked with numerous fake WhatsApp “booking requests”. Contacted the hotel, who knew about them, but was not interested. Also received several requests later from the actual hotel to “pre check in” which required us to upload personal information plus credit card to what was clearly a third party platform. Emails and text messages. We ignored them and had no trouble checking in at the counter with a very pleasant gentleman.Spacious room, comfortable bed, armchairs and a good size bar fridge. Ironing facilities. Nice view. Free parking. Not much soundproofing though, as anyone in the hall or next room was easily heard. The restaurant is also a bit noisy, but fortunately the “guitar man” stopped and when he did we were really much happier.
