Wonderful West End Central Apartments

Great accommodation to be based in the West End/ South Brisbane area.Lovely sun drenched rooms with a good size bed and work desk.I chose this area, as it has quite a few attractions including near transport links, Suncorp, West End, South Brisbane/ Southbank at Brisbane CBD is across the river.Generally safe without too many hassles.Great area to walk in with a lot of places all nearby.Plenty of choices for food and drinks with a lot of take-away, restaurants, cafes, bars and convenience stores all close by.

7 Mature ladies, spent a week in 2 apartments, , The week we were there a very efficient Manager Ella , made our stay very comfortable , always with a smile , The apartments were very clean and beds were great , kitchen had everything we needed , (we ate out allot) , great pub at the back of the building , and cafes to

Did not honor Wotif/Expedia booking

Deeply disappointed. I was advised day before departure that reservation would not be honored causing significant disruption to my plans. Direct contact with property in days leading up this was very frustrating as reception extremely unhelpful. At initial booking Wotif/Expedia advised additional confirmation was not necessary but property began sending emails insisting on additional information. Clearly communication between property and Wotif/Expedia is very poor and property treats Wotif/Expedia customers as second class citizens. Adam Metcalfe, General Manager at West End Central Apartments, responded to this review Hello 675gregm,Thank you for your review, I must however disagree with everything you have written. Expedia unfortunately booked you in for dates that we did not have, we advised Expedia of this and they cancelled the booking with us immediately. We rang you ourselves, as a courtesy, to advise you of this. We did not have to do this, as usually all online bookings are handled by online travel agent, namely Expedia in this case. As soon as we advised you of this, you were very argumentative. I can appreciate you were put in a position whereby you had to find alternative accommodation, but Expedia are responsible for this as this was not our fault. Now because of your response and how you spoke to the staff here, we shall no longer be calling any online travel agent guests directly but will be your booking. Perhaps you need to read the reservation conditions when booking online, that may save you a lot of time and trouble next time.

Great staff, very clean apartment amazing location. Very comfy bed and the price was very competitive for the location. It will be my go to accommodation for Brisbane for now on. So much choice for restaurants, great coffee spots and West End is the new trendy location in Brisbane. Close to exhibition centre so close its an easy 12 minute walk, which suited me and my needs. I’ll be back!!

Disappointing Stay at West End Central Apartments

My four-night stay at West End Central Apartments was disappointing. There was no room service for the entire duration, and they failed to provide fresh towels, shampoo, soap, and toilet paper despite multiple requests. I had to personally ask for assistance, but nothing was delivered. Moreover, there was no coffee in the room, and the phone didn't connect to the reception. The location was good, but the overall experience was unsatisfactory, even though I had already paid in advance. Adam Metcalfe, General Manager at West End Central Apartments, responded to this review Hi there, this review is false and has nothing to do with West Central Apartments as a company and/or hotel. It sounds like you have booked via a private AIRBNB or Private booking via an owner or outside agent, again, nothing to do with us as a company. We don't promote daily servicing, only weekly cleans or mid stay cleans dependent on length of stay. We have coffee in all of our rooms, our phones connect to reception and if someone had asked us for these things, we respond at the front desk and/or via our housekeeping team. I would strongly recommend that you get your facts straight before putting such a review up as this reflects poorly on us. I am reporting this review and asking for it to be taken down, I would ask that you take it down as well.
