    Disgraceful Customer Service and Uninhabitable Rooms

    Upon entering the room, there were obvious cleanliness issues, including visible mould and grime around the air conditioning area, window frames, windows and skirting boards. This was immediately noticeable and raised concerns about hygiene and maintenance standards.When the issue was raised with staff, the response was not handled well. Rather than addressing the concern professionally, the interaction was defensive and dismissive, which only escalated what should have been a simple resolution.After deciding not to stay and arranging alternative accommodation at short notice, communication became unnecessarily difficult. Multiple follow-ups were required to get clear answers, which added to the frustration of an already stressful situation, receptionist Leanne and manager Linda were argumentative and unhelpful.What makes this more concerning is that similar issues appear in other reviews, particularly around cleanliness and how complaints are handled. This suggests these are ongoing problems rather than a one-off experience.Good customer service is about listening and resolving issues calmly. Sadly, this property did not meet that expectation. I have explained there was no mould in the air conditioner unit. This is a dust/grime buildup on the back plating. It is a difficult spot to get into but the air conditioners are fully serviced and disassembled professionally twice a year. Our filters are done in house every eight weeks.Your concerns and complaints were acknowledged and your accommodation costs fully refunded. Your refund request wasn't refused, it was pointed out to you by reception that as you were also adding in personal taxi/uber fares it would have to be passed on to management.You sent five emails over a 2.5 hour period but in your 2nd email you asked for a refund to be processed within 24h hours, which it was. The following emails were just demanding repeats of the first email.I wasn't on site when you dealt with Leanne, she called me at home after you had left, emotionally distressed and felt quite nervous and intimidated by your verbal tirade. I'm not sure when you feel you were personally attacked, you have said in your review "us" but you were the only one doing all the talking in reception. You probably don't realise how you present yourself but your behaviour towards others is intimidating as I found out myself when you returned the following day.I'm not sure what else you wish to achieve with your reviews, I understand you may find the acknowledgement of writing reviews empowering but I can assure you, you have been heard, and your feedback has been listened to and actioned.Kindest RegardsLinda ParsonsManager

    Rooms are not to standard damaged window coverings, Bathroom was like going into an office room and smell was like being in a sewerage plant we only stayed for 2 hours due to smell and house keeping is not be desired beds with sheets that don't fit bed properly reception staff notified of issues and choose to ignore them and not respond, do your self a favour book any where but here

    Thank you to the lovely staff at the Comfort Inn. I had a relaxing stay after a losing flight and everyone was really helpful and considerate after I had messed up my booking! I could not have been made to feel more appreciated as a guest and welcome. The rooms were perfect for the airport and very clean the hotel had a quiet and clam atmosphere for those looking to get there head down after a flight or if they were staying there for the week. . Great access to big shopping centres like Chermside too. The complimentary airport shuttle was accomodating and a friendly ride. Shout out the cleaning staff I had a chat with too. They were all really friendly. I left an item behind in the room and the staff rang me to ask for a forwarding address. I have never experienced such attention to customers before. Thank you to everyone there and I highly recommend staying at the Comfort Inn.

    Great location near the airport, the three bedroom apartment was huge with its own deck and 2 full levels. The staff were very helpful with arranging our breakfast packs to our room as we arrived after close. The shuttle service to the airport was very handy

    Stayed as close to the airport for an early morning flight. Not as close to the airport as we thought. Dropped off a rental car and then paid $30 for a taxi. Have a free shuttle which is good. On a very noisey road and lots of outside lights shining into rooms!
