Location

This hotel is located a short stroll away from the heart of the city, with its malls and shopping venues or from South Bank, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and Museum or the Treasury Casino. It is conveniently set in a quiet area of the CBD yet only minutes from all the action of the city centre. Perched on the highest point of the central city, the hotel features breathtaking views of the city, mountains, river and surrounding suburbs. This is the perfect base for visitors to the city, with easy access to the north and south motorways leading to the Gold and Sunshine Coasts and rail, bus and airport terminals. The hotel is approximately 25 km from Brisbane Airport.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 180 rooms, including 18 suites and 160 double rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. 10 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard amenities of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. Comfortable sun loungers are available on the terrace. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. Leisure activities and facilities at the hotel include a gym, aerobics, massage treatments and a solarium or, for a fee, a sauna. An entertainment programme and live music round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner). Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options. Alcoholic beverages are available.

    Stayed in 13 hotels during our tour of Australia. Here we stayed in Room 308. Two double beds, balcony with city view. Good AC. Lovely walk in shower. Clean and modern style. Fridge, safe in room. Serviced by 2 lifts. Breakfast 2 for 1 offer good. Good hotel.

    The location of this place means you have to get a bus to the city. Yes it’s a free bus and only 15 mins or so but it’s a pain. Seems like this is a conference hotel , it’s certainly not a welcoming one for vacationers. Reception staff not particularly friendly. Breakfast very cheap ( diluted juices , tinned fruit etc ). Balcony room but no chairs on the ( tiny ) space. Room cleaning minimal. Not impressed but it was adequate.     A lovely hotel all the staff were wonderful the ladies at the reception made us so welcome and all the other staff were great The bedrooms were lovely and welcoming the restaurant in the hotel had a lovely menu so did the lounge bar.     Lovely friendly hotel in a suburb of Brisbane. 10 mins walk to the shopping malls and 20 mins to South Beach.It is on a hill so if you have mobility issues would not advise.Staff very friendly.Pleasant bar and food in the evenings.Rooms comfortable.     To management, what a fantastic hotel, clean, tidy , decor beautiful, venue perfect , food amazing but most off all the staff second to none , AMAZING! Friendliest staff in any hotel ever. They looked after us like VIP as our son was having surgery across the road, they bent over backwards .. staff in Restaurant lovely to, and The lovely guy in the bar makes yummy espresso martinis best iv ever had. Thank you to all the lovely staff at the reception desk as well.
