  Great location - easy walk to Suncorp Stadium. Easy to get to and check in. Fast and friendly service. Well appointed 2 bed 2 bath apartment. Clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended if needing to visit south bank or Suncorp.

  Dated apartments in need of a thorough clean

  Check in was quick and efficient. Reception closes at 5:30pm. There are 3 buildings in these suites - (1) Baase, (2) Station 16 and (3) Artisan. We stayed 3 nights in Artisan, apartment # 904. A spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with laundry facilities, a full kitchen, lounge area, a small balcony with views of the surrounding apartment buildings and distant views of the city skyline. The apartment was ageing, and a bit tired looking. The walls had dirty marks, and general wear and tear. The bathrooms had a faint old mouldy smell. One bedroom has air conditioning, the other bedroom only has a ceiling fan, but it was closest to the lounge, so we left the lounge air conditioning on, and it cooled the bedroom nicely, on a hot Brisbane night. On the whole, the apartment was tidy, but not immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable, the surroundings were quiet. Entry is by swipe card and we felt very safe. Parking is under the buildings, (first-in first-served) and is shared with the permanent residents ($15/night). CityTrains go right past the front of the apartments on Merivale Street. Appt 904 is at the rear of the building, so it was fairly quiet. A range of Restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. Bus stop within 20 metres of the apartment. We would stay again.

  Comfort, price and location. What's not to like?

  Comfort, and so much better than an hotel room attwice the price. Very well located near the cultural and restaurant precincts.Staff cannot be faulted. We will happily return when next in Brisbane.

  Credit Card Hold????

  It’s a great location and I would have given it more but the service was miserable. They put a $250 hold on my credit card for the length of stay in case I damaged anything, yet there was no pre-inspection of the place with me which meant, to cover myself, i had to take photos of everything to make sure there wouldn’t be anything I could be pinged for. I’m in Brisbane to attend a conference. In all my travels I’ve never had such a large sum held on my credit card by a hotel like this. Most unprofessional. I’ll be back in Brisbane. It will not be back here.

  Apartment needing some TLC

  Stayed here two nights for work ( Artisan no 18), noticed a musky smell in the room and the Aircon seemed to struggle to cool the room. Being a split system I checked the filters, refer to photos, once cleaned the aircon worked fine. Some kitchen items need to be replaced as they were starting to rust, could not get the cook top stove to work, on/off button failed.Room itself is quite large for a couple, bathroom also showing rust at the the door base.My room faced the street which was not quite and the Coffee Shop underneath/below opens very early playing Trance type music with of course a large customer base to be served, which was producing good cheap food.If staying here longer you need a room not facing the street, found the staff upon check rather blunt. If you check in after 5pm you will need to email them Photo/Credit Card ID and will receive a code to collect a key to enter.Some simple improvements would make the experience better
