Location

This hotel is superbly located to take advantage of all that Brisbane has to offer. It is situated next to the City Botanical Gardens, overlooking the Brisbane River, and yet lies only minutes from the central business district.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 93 non-smoking rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. The hotel provides a cloakroom, a baggage storage service, a safe, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a smoke alarm. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (for a fee) and a car park. Bicycles can be kept in the bicycle storage area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the city from a balcony or terrace. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can enjoy a selection of sport and entertainment options. Even in cool weather, guests can swim a few laps in the heated outdoor pool. After an eventful day, guests can work out and recharge in the gym.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar. In addition to breakfast, the apartment hotel also offers lunch and dinner à la carte.

    Good location, friendly service, terrible lighting

    An agreeable stay in a good location with friendly staff. However, the lighting in the room (and reception) was terrible in that it was all very cool, blue light. There wasn’t a single warm light on the property, which made the whole place seem cold and sterile. It would be very simple to change to some ‘warm while’ globes, at the very least in the bedside lamps in the bedrooms and standing lamps in the living areas. In reception, that change would make the property far more cosy and inviting.
