    Mold and smells musty.

    Mold in bathroom. Room smells musty. Ceiling fan keeps speeding up and slowing down. Blinds dusty. Hallways smell terrible.

    Theft at its finest! Refusing to refund money paid in advance foe a room despite our cancellation being made due to the hotel contacting to advise they were unable to provide the accomodation for our stay due to “flooding and electrical issues”. Oaks HMMews, General Manager at Oaks Brisbane Mews Suites, responded to this review Dear Emma,I am saddened to read your review since we have refunded any money for all reservations that had to be cancelled due to the lift being out of service due to Cyclone Alfred. All our guests were given a choice of cancelling without penalties or being transferred to another Oaks hotel in the city.If you have not received your refund for some reason, please provide me with the complete name of the booker and the dates you were supposed to have stayed here.I look forward to hearing from you.Kind regards,Rose

    You would have to pay me too stay here it is the worst’s place I have have ever stayed the hall way are dirty it smells the walls a dirty as well the rooms smell of smoke the staff do not care the manager is no we’re too be found parties all night long no sleep no thanks.     We enjoyed our stay and staff were very helpful with any concern we had whilst staying in the Mews apartments. More bowls and ovenware would have been good to be able to use the oven and microwave. Only one saucepan and one fry-pan in the kitchen.

    The stay was quote good bit the aftercare has not been.I left my cellphone at the property and called them immediately once I realised, I was advised the phone had been found and if I arranged a prepaid envelope this would be returned to me. I purchased a prepaid international mail envelope from australia post and advised the property this would arrive addressed to myself and informed them of my home address to send me phone on. The delivery of the prepaid envelope has been declined and the envelope is now been returned to sender...it looks like I am now not getting my cellphone back but am also out of pocket for the prepaid envelope which I purchased.I have tried contacting the property numerous times with no joy
