    I made a booking error the day after losing my dog of 10 years my companion since leaving the Army. I was in acute grief and booked a hotel named "emporium" which they used to be named. They called to confirm the booking, I said no, I booked the wrong hotel, I was meant to book the emporium (They uses They refused to assist in any way.No empathy. No flexibility. No humanity. The Emporium Hotel it once was — this place has lost its soul.I escalated through Qantas Hotels who also declined. This matter will be esculuated.

    We stayed for 5 days and were upgraded into a spa room which was gorgeous. I hadn’t stayed in this area before but it’s not far from the river cat and the railway station (this doesn’t relate to the hotel but Brisbane having 50c charge for their public transport is pretty fantastic and you should take advantage!) and there are restaurants nearby too.What makes this hotel for me is the breakfast. They have loads of choice on the menu and the quality and quantity of it is good too. They used to include a juice as well as a hot drink which we would have appreciated but I really enjoyed my food here and the free drink in the evening was great too.I felt looked after and it’s not pretentious, just artsy and laidback. I would definitely love to have the opportunity to go back.

    I was an amazing experience at such a fun hotel to stay at! The staff are all so lovely! Grawid in Housekeeping, Josh, Bryson & the amazing Tany at reception. I was super lucky with the room Tany gave me! Thank you! Conor at the Pool Bar was great as well In looking after us. Highly Recommended. Thank you and till next time!
