    Comfort Hotel Pacific Cleveland cancelled our confirmed booking on arrival day. No room at 5:30pm. Stressful & poor.

    We booked our stay at Comfort Hotel Pacific Cleveland nine months in advance and were looking forward to our visit. To avoid any issues, I also phoned one month before arrival to reconfirm the booking and explained clearly that we would be off the mainland with no phone service before arriving, but would be checking in later that day.Despite this, our booking was cancelled at 3:00 pm on the day of arrival. We arrived at 5:30 pm to find that our long planned accommodation had been given away and there were no rooms available.This created unnecessary stress and disappointment at the end of the day, especially after planning so far ahead and taking the extra step to reconfirm. A very poor experience and not the level of reliability guests should expect when making a confirmed booking.

    Nice hotel for an overnight. Restaurant and bar did not open, which meant a drive in the rain downtown for dinner. Large room, nice bathroom.

    Hi I am so upset and disappointed in my stay as I was going through a hard time I need a night away I just come out of domestic relationship and ask for 1 night on the top floor so I felt safe thats fine very helpfull then I got to my room my would not lock on with are latch that could of been pushed to open it not to mention that the mini bar was empty and no knife's al forks now they have mad are promise to customers that they are safe I homeless man is aloud to walk around there swim in the pool asking people for money he is a junky I had to leave 4 hours after I got there because of couples arguing fighting its like staying with are bunch of junkys that have no were to go very unhappy and so shocked that 6 of left last night so I am going down there now to take photos fot the accc

    Don’t stay here, especially if you are alone or have a family. There is some very unsavoury people living there, visiting there and wandering around at all hours. The reception/manager does not have a good manner and they lock the doors to the reception area. Whole place smells very damp and mouldy. Rooms are very old and not looked after. I had cockroaches in my room and some of the electrical points do not work. Water and mould damage on walls.

    Room was large, new carpet, tidy- Half renovated. Bathroom tired and grout grotty, dodgy light switch. We were there 3 nights, room was tidied once. Average state of room could cope with as wasn't dirty and staff were friendly. However, there are what appears to be more permanent residents in the rooms. There are 2 tables set up in the carpark that they sit and smoke and drink at, starting at 5am, clearly heard from nearby rooms. It isn't a good look for a place of business attracting travellers and tourists. Probably would not stay again, didn't like the vibe those residents gave the place.
