Location

The hotel is located just a short walk from Suncorp Stadium, the Brisbane Convention Centre, Southbank Parklands, Queensland Theatre Centre and Roma Street Parklands. The city centre is just a couple of minutes' drive away, and it is 10 minutes by car to the Performing Arts Centre and 12 minutes to the Queen Street Mall shopping venues. Brisbane Airport is just 15 km away.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 100 rooms. English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops as well. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park. Further services include medical assistance, room service and a laundry service. To assist guests with their business and communication needs, the business centre offers a fax machine.

    Worst place to stay

    Well Daisy this was the worst place I have stayed, and was the only let down of our trip to Brisbane, we paid $1440(NZD) for the 6 day stay and our experience was terrible so Iam going to give some brutal feedback to you in the hope you seriously address the issues, or other people will read this and not book your units, We arrived on Tuesday evening, the swipe card could not access the basement for parking due to programming issues, yet when I booked I specifically wanted a place that provided a carpark for the rental car so accessing this was very difficult as we had to ask at reception each time to open the gate, and was reminded each time the Air B&B has nothing to do with them, furthermore access to the carpark after 8.30pm was impossible as the staff had left, this meant I had to park and pay for public carparking, when I raised this with you you told me to ask at reception to reset the swipe card which they refused to do as it would cancel the other people cards.Entering the room, it smelt so bad and did not present as in the pictures when I chose your Air B&B.The kitchen dishwasher had mould, food and left over dishpowder inside, would not use it, kitchen bench had black mould ingrained as the top-coat sealant was wearing away, around the sink the sealant had come away and is a germ trap, kitchen drawers had oily residue and food particles inside, we had to hand wash every dish and utensils we needed to use. I opened the washing machine and just about vomited from the smell, there was black mould on the inside rubber seal, could not use that either and we were only provided with 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel for the entire 6 day stay, we ended having to pay money for laundry, in the lounge, furniture arms were stained black from everyone’s arms and body grease, carpet was badly stained and I did not feel comfortable not having shoes on in case of infection on my feet, the archaic/ancient aircon in the bedroom rattled loudly so could not sleep with it on because of the noise it made, the bed did not have a duvet cover just an inner and sheets, no other warm blanket provided,I made contact with Daisy (owner) the next day and provided photos with my concerns, a cleaner was arranged to remedy my concerns and to come in the next day, this did not happen, I had re-contacted Daisy, cleaners came the following day and it made no difference, all they did was put the dishwasher on to rinse out, still mould and food remained inside, they put the washing machine on but it stopped and black water was left sitting inside the bowl as it did not drain out, again could not use it, and just about vomited from opening the door.I contacted you Daisy and You asked me (again) for photos but due limited internet the photos were not processing but I still have all the photos on my phone and will be happy to share with anyone including Booking.com, no ow that I am home The ‘so-called private’ jacuzzi and pool was a joke, not jets or bubbles in the jacuzzi and was the same temperature as the main pool… cold.I could not afford to stay elsewhere that would have been cleaner and give me and my partner enjoyment for our 1st holiday together, I had planned this holiday for over 8 months and it became the worst experience, and I was ashamed that I booked your Air B&B People people don’t book here, don’t waste your money, there are better and more beautiful Air B&B in Brisbane city to chose from, I would not be surprised if this feedback is taken down to protect the owner, I will also be contacting Booking.com to raise my concerns, Yours sincerely SUE COOKENEW ZEALAND

    Just needed a place close to the train station and Suncorp! Room was much bigger than I expected, amazing views and i got more than I expected. Great value for money!     Noisy environments Robotic customer service team, no friendly touch from staffs. I'd recommend accommodating personalised needs of the guests and appropriate training of customer service team, maybe managerial supervision. Clearly, they appear to operate at a cost cutting level on staffs.
