This hotel is located 200 m from Southbank Beach (man-made beach) and 300 m from the weekend arts and crafts market, in the heart of Brisbane's arts and entertainment precinct and immediately adjacent to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. It is the closest hotel to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, with the Queensland Museum 600 m away, the Treasury Casino 1 km and the Suncorp Stadium 2 km. Downtown Brisbane is just a 10-minute stroll away and Brisbane Airport is 15 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 304 rooms, which are located on 11 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Rooms

    Our Go To Stay in Brisbane

    Our third stay at Rydges Brisbane, and each visit somehow gets better and better. The manager was incredibly accommodating, the service throughout our stay was fantastic, and check-in was seamless. The hotel was also very easy to find, which made arriving stress free.What really stands out is the attention to detail — it’s those thoughtful little touches that make each stay feel extra special.The pool and bar area are perfect for a relaxing afternoon, but the buffet is definitely one of our absolute favourites and always something we look forward to.We always enjoy our stays here and sharing our recommendations to others . We will absolutely be back again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a welcoming and memorable stay in Brisbane.

    My stay covered some 4 days for a conference. All in all a very convenient, and comfortable hotel. I had requested a high level room which was quickly provided. I appreciated an early check in due to the early arrival of my aircraft into Brisbane. I was unable to check the hotel cuisine as all was proved within the conference. The exception being a quick snack in the hotel cafe, prior to check in. The hotel surrounding area of restaurants, etc, is quite remarkable, and the atmosphere exceptional. It was a good stay overall.

    Everything was perfect. Best bed ever, staff lovely. But- had a terrible surprise when checking out with the unexpected costs involved with parking & compulsory valet. I had been told I had fully paid! Zero mention of car parking costs until checking out. $178 for 3 night stay, using Valet twice. Still in shock!!     Stayed here for 8 nights. Had to large single beds, pillows we found uncomfortable. We had a room with balcony overlooking Southbank with lovely views. Disappointed in small bathroom and poor shower. WiFi was excellent.
