    I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at View Hotel Brisbane.We specifically booked and paid for a late check-out to allow for a relaxed departure. However, when we returned to our room two hours before our confirmed check-out time, we found a cleaner already inside, actively stripping the room — despite our suitcases and personal belongings still being there. This was both shocking and unacceptable.As a result, we felt rushed and flustered while packing, which led to us accidentally leaving behind clothing and jewellery in the cupboard. When we contacted the hotel, we were told that none of these items had been handed in by cleaning staff and that they could not be located.This raises serious concerns about both staff communication and the handling of guest property. Entering a room prior to the agreed check-out time, especially when it is clearly still occupied, is a breach of privacy. The fact that personal belongings have now gone missing, with no accountability, is even more concerning.We paid extra for a late check-out and instead experienced stress, loss of belongings, and a complete lack of responsibility from the hotel.I would not stay here again and would caution others to think twice, particularly if you value your privacy and personal property.

    Lovely corner room view but can be noisy

    I really liked the style snd the interior design of the hotel and the corner room on the fourth floor had gorgeous river views. However as it is located on one of Brisbane’s major highways, the room can be noisy if on the riverside.The hotel bar had great ambience and lots of cocktail options. The gym is small but fairly well equipped and the hotel even has a small pool. Unfortunately the internet was down for part of my stay but otherwise the View is a good option if wanting to stay a little bit closer to the airport.

    SUPERB HOTEL in a great location with comfortable well appointed rooms and in room/in house Dining. Very impressed by the friendly team at the Hotel including Sarah who welconed me upon arrival and was super helpful as was Manager Yuki on Day 2 who assisted me with exceptional professional assistance helping me relocate to another room on the same floor after a couple of small issues with the original allocated room and I would also like to mention Kylie at Reception on Day 3 .. also another super professional who was absolutely charming and went the extra mile to make me a delicious Iced Coffee to take to my room .. 5 STAR service all the way .. every day .. Room Service was also prompt and the Bar staff downstairs super helpful and friendly

    Highly Underrated Hotel

    We were looking for a spa day at W Hotel for our Anniversary and were told they no longer sold day passes, wanting us to book a room at over $500 for the night. My wife booked at the View Hotel instead, at less than half the price, which also had a pool, jacuzzi and sauna, our room overlooked the Brisbane river, was like a suite, very comfortable and clean. There was free on site parking, and we were able to walk everywhere. Not only did we get our spa day, we enjoyed harness racing and a great steak dinner at the Breakfast Creek Hotel. Amazing gem in Brisbane city

    Almost everything at View Brisbane (Hamilton) is great — except the beds.We were first given Room 405, which had a king mattress so soft it felt more like a hammock than a bed. I weigh 85kg and sank straight in, especially on the left side where the springs seemed to have given up completely. After a few uncomfortable hours, it just wasn’t happening.The room had a futon, but the mattress was old, smelly, and missing basic bedding, so that option was quickly abandoned. At 1:30am I called reception and they kindly moved us to Room 305. The mattress was still very soft, but at least supportive enough to sleep.Even my partner (45kg) struggled — and if someone that light can’t get comfortable, the mattress softness is extreme. For reference, my home mattress is a medium 6/10; Room 405 felt like a 1/10.If the hotel upgraded to medium mattresses, it would be excellent. Unfortunately, after needing two extra-shot coffees the next morning just to function, the beds let the stay down.
