  We stayed for one night and thank goodness it wasn't more - couldn't wait to leave. The 3 bedroom place is large but very old, peeling paint and broken windows, stank, and worst of all it had several doors that led to the other part of the house where people lived - with only a small luggage padlock as security. Our children were in the twin room near the adjoining door and we couldn't sleep as didn't feel safe. We could hear people coughing and laughing through the door as if they were standing in our room, and could smell their cigarette smoke coming under the door. Location was great but I would not recommend for families at all - terrible

  Fifties decor but awesome place to stay, beds are comfy too.

  Huge three bedroom unit was ideal for us and the grandchildren, the pool and jacuzzi were much bigger than expected and were so clean. We really enjoyed our short stay and want to come back again for a week asap. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating which was appreciated as we were on a tight schedule. I consider it a hidden wonder and will be back again 😊

  We stayed here for 3 nights as few choices left because of a major 'austag' competition. Location is great, an easy walk to an excellent beach. Can walk to town and major shopping complex if you are not in a hurry. We had the converted double garage which was adequate but not luxurious by any stretch of the imagination. Managers were pleasant and helpful.

  A bit older - but great location and quiet

  We stayed here for two nights. This house has three apartements in different sizes. We chose the smallest one, since it was only the two of us and only for two nights.The location is great: A bit out of town in a hill area. It is very quiet here, but also very safe - it's a good neighbourhood. You park the car just out front. And there you'll also find a table and a BBQ-Grill. Great for a nice b'fast or also dinner. You can see the ocean from here....seems further, but it really is just 3 minutes away by foot. So you easily can leave the car here. It's a great beach with lots of Surfers.The apartment itself is a bit on the older side. The kitchen is quite basic with a microwave/grill/stove combination, but was fully stocked and it had everything we needed. The bathroom is dated, but for two nights it was fine. The living room/bedroom was nice with flatscreen. The bed was comfy...There were other guests, but it was always nice and quiet, never heard them. On the main floor there is a lovely outside pool and even a jacuzzi! But it was winter and we didn't feel like it (it was ready to jump in though). There's a laundry room too in case you need it. One night there was a power shortage and all electricity went out. The owners were here in under 30min....luckily it was just a fuse. The owner here are really friendly....very nice guys and very helpful.So, even though the apartement was not perfect....the location surely is! And the price is more than fair.   It was OK for a night

  by the average review of the one bedroom studio i decided to book into the 2 Bedroom apartment, even tho there was only myself and my partner. glad i went for that choice as the 1 bedder looked pretty average from the outside. The 2br apartment was alright for us. good size kitchen with couch and dining table. the rest of the apartment is quite old but reasonably clean. the pool was really nice and there's a big wooden picnic table outside which is really handy.
