Do not judge this book by its cover.

    rating21 Mar 2026

The motel is part of the caravan park which also has cabins but don’t let that discourage you. The motel room whilst being basic was big enough for 2 people and clean. The outside veranda has chairs and tables you can sit and just watch the world go by. The most surprising part of the room was the TV. It was a huge smart version that you could stream all your own subscriptions. We have stayed in 5 star hotels that charge 3 times more and have the most basic of TV’s. This place definitely falls into the genre of do not judge a book by its cover.

CABINS ARE DISGUSTING - DONT BOOK

    rating28 Feb 2026

CABINS ARE DISGUSTING! DO NOT BOOK!(1 Night - $158.40)Our first thoughts - “WTF have we paid for?!… We paid how much?!….Are they f***ing serious?!”***FYI***(Before leaving this review we contacted the owners and booking company giving our feedback and concerns, requesting a refund/compensation or we would take it further…. The result was they offered us nothing)So here we are….Me (38) and my wife (36) stayed here in February 2026 in a ensuite cabin on our way home to country NSW from our great 2 week holiday on Fraser Island.Absolutely disgusted this is how it ended, we felt angry and upset that we had booked and paid to stay in such a place. We have traveled all around Oz and abroad and this is the WORST we have ever stayed in.I’v stayed in poor ‘3rd world’ countries for work in mine camps and it has been nicer then this.We arrived late in the day around 7-8pm and couldn’t believe it, unable to find anywhere else to stay and about to leave and risk the fatigue to keep driving home another 5hrs. It wasn’t worth the risk and with a completely full car, unable to sleep in that. We had no other choice but to bear it and count the hours sleep we could get before safely leaving again.. we left at 5am tired and exhausted with regret ever booking this place. Here are some of the things we experienced with photos.- Ants everywhere.- Spider webs and spiders everywhere.- Tv didn’t work - no reception at all.- Ceiling fan was just dangling from roof by 1 maybe 2 screws.- Mould and water marks everywhere! (Clearly has had flood damage!)- Exhaust fan in bathroom was faulty with loud ticking and buzzing sound.- Cabinets damaged/missing panels.- Dirty floor, we had to put blankets on the ground to keep our feet clean. We wasted $150 of our hard earned money trying to support this country NSW tourist park, we always try to support country independent businesses when we can. This park needs to bulldoze these cabins and stop stealing peoples money. They are clearing aware but they just DO NOT CARE. Pick up your act and be a decent Australian business! Respect and look after your customers and respect their hard earned money! We are still fuming about this…Currently writing this review while staying in a beautiful county motor inn at Tamworth, having paid the same price and getting value for money… without the mould, insects, dirt or a death trap of a ceiling fan.**Reading other reviews we are not the first to have to experienced this.

    Not Happy

    rating04 Feb 2026

we booked a room that supposedly had 5 dbl beds. It was actually 2 sets bunk beds and one queen bed. The bunk beds had 2 inch foam mattresses which were hard. Click clack couch was torn at back and could not sit on as too low to the ground and uncomfortable. Shower door had no handle and could not close properly. We left at 4am after no sleep. At the price i would not recommend this place to anyone. Hope the new owners will take note and clean the place up.

A one night stay over that did not have a good beginning.

    rating25 Jan 2026

At first we were put in a very small room and I asked if there was something better, so we were put in another. The place has recently been taken over and they are having problems with the televisions in the rooms. The lady who was on the front desk tried her best to accommodate us in a room with a working television and after four try’s we got one. The lady was clearly agitated with my request and became quite angry with me. My partner has cancer and is undergoing radiotherapy as well as hormone injections that make him very overheated and stressed so I wanted him to have a room that was all he had paid for. I explained to her that it was not my fault that the rooms did not have what we had paid for but just got told, “what do you expect for three and a half stars?”I would suggest that if this park were to be a going concern that the staff might need some training in customer service and I am sure the owners would not be very happy to hear how their customers were treated. I made sure I left the room spotless with all dishes washed and put away and bench tops wiped. I stored the kettle and toaster in the cupboard after cleaning the toaster as it had a lot of stale breadcrumbs in the base. I am not sure whether I would come back here. I had stayed there before and had no problems. I think once they get over their teething problems they might be a bit better.

    Great park for early risers

    rating28 Dec 2025

Great little park. However the cockatoos were epic. If you’re an early riser this park is definitely the park for you! Be prepared for a 5.30 am wake up by hundreds of cockatoos 🫣 The facility s are modern however they need a good clean.
