  We booked this little local gem for a one night stay on our way to QLD from NSW. What a great find! The place is lovely! The rooms are huge and comfortable, we are a family of 4 but a family of 5 or 6 would fit. They have a pool which we didn't have time to use. The view is so nice - each room has a great view of the hills and the rabbits around the property. Beds were comfortable, our room even had a toaster and microwave with a full size fridge. The staff are very accommodating.We had dinner at the onsite restaurant called Moo which is only open 6 - 8pm, and it surpassed our expectations. We had 5 star restaurant quality food - chicken involtini, lamb rump and kids meals that were very generous size. Everything was so delicious and well priced. I left my glasses in the room and they called me right away to let me know and held on to them until I came back a few days later.Highly recommend this local gem when you are in the Grafton area.   I booked this last minute and it was a very nice surprise. Easy and friendly checking in. Very comfy room which was well appointed. The evening meal was superb.I highly recommend this motel and will definitely stay here whenever I'm in Grafton from now on. Great value.

  Very happy, staff were very friendly and loved to have a joke and a laugh. Unit very clean no problems at all. Highly recommend. Stayed there on our through and also on our home. The area is very quite, being on the Big River Way was surprising.

  there's a dog roaming freely at reception area although no dogs allowed in guest rooms. can literally hear the conversations, coughs, sneezes of people in the next room and traffic noise. no microwave in room. cobwebs and bird droppings on windows. non-serviced rooms. Angie Stackhouse, Other at Jacaranda Motor Lodge, responded to this review The Cavalier King Charles dog is the owners dog and was behind a closed door in reception and does not roam the around the grounds without having a human with him. I am sorry that you fail to mention in your review that you are frightened of dogs, which when you arrived you told reception staff and he was immediately taken into the back office.Hearing people sneeze and cough is unfortunately unavoidable as we are a motel and traffic noise I am not sure as there is a bypass around the town so traffic is very limited. A microwave is available upon request, bird droppings on windows facing west again depends on the wind and as it was the weekend maintenance staff do not work then. Cobwebs and no service has been brought to the attention of housekeeping.

  Definitely lived up to expectations. We ate with friends from Grafton at the restaurant that evening. Room fine... no issues at all.Restaurant was superb food, and for the quality f the food very reasonably priced.
