Well priced with large comfy rooms, great location with a hotel & shopping center nearby. Staff are friendly & accommodating, will certainly return.

What an absolutely fantastic crew that work here. My elderly dad, my little dog & i had just walked out of a motel from hell thinking we'd be better off sleeping in the car in torrential rain than staying where we were. Google was telling us no vancancies anywhere close but we rang around anyway. Luck on our side the Macquarie Barracks Motor Inn had a vacancy. Woohoo what a find - we were made very welcome from the first phone call, on arrival (& dripping wet) the receptionist & the manager made us feel so welcome. They even supplied an umbrella to help get my elderly dad to our room. They even greeted my little dog. Our room was very spacious, spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. I have already been recommending this place and will continue to do so. We will definitely be back.Thanks so much Macquarie Barracks Motor Inn

A very nice place to stay on my trip from Sydney to the Gold Coast.The staff were highly professional and friendly, my room was spacious, and the private outdoor balcony added charm and utility to the experience. My bed was comfy and hence I slept well, which is important when you're driving solo.The recommended "Settlers Arms" was just steps away for a great meal, and all the expected room facilities were readily available.Just a short drive to a river-front breakfast, Macquarie Barracks is a place I recommend and will be using again myself.

Convenient and Comfortable

I have stayed here a couple of times now and find it a very convenient and comfortable place to stay on road trips between QLD and NSW. Staff are very friendly. It is conveniently located (two doors down the road) close to the Settlers Inn Pub (relaxing pub dinner). Will stay here again on next trip.

The pillows were very uncomfortable but the bed was comfortable, electic blankets would be nice as it was a very cold and rainy day when we were there, the couch had rips in it, and one of the curtains had a big rip in it so over the rooms and the bathroom needs an upgrade. No heating in the bathroom so very cold when having a shower. Needs some heating lamps.
