    As a woman travelling on my own, I can recommend this hotel. The rooms above the pub and restaurant are well sound proofed and I was not disturbed by any noise. I enjoyed my meal in the pub restaurant. The room was very clean. All in all a successful stopover on my drive from Hervey Bay to Sydney.

    Fresh, Clean and tidy rooms Only downfall is no aircon unfortunately, but it just means you get to sit down stairs longer and drink 🤷‍♀️Staff were amazing

    Arrived at the Pier Hotel on a hot day and no air conditioning in the bedroom. This was not disclosed on the website. Left straight away. The website advertises "Premium Boutique Pub Accommodation" - what a joke!

    Drinks were cold, the food was excellent and staff friendly. The Nepalese curry was great. The atmosphere hospitable.

    We grabbed a seat at the window in the wine bar area which was great before making our way to the rear dining area for dinner. Every staff member was friendly, the place was clean and inviting.

    I had a lovely night at the Pier Hotel, a very friendly welcome and a quiet, comfortable room. The pub is small, with a nice old-world vibe. Very good dinner in the Bistro, but if you're staying a while there are other options along the street. And it's just a short walk from the Coffs jetty and foreshore.
