Great Hotel but accessible parking is an issue

Great location, friendly staff and incredibly clean. The only thing that people need to be aware of is the very limited accessible parking. There is only one paid parking spot available. My husband uses a wheelchair so I was able to drop him off and then go and find a park but if the driver was a wheelchair user or had a mobility issue the accomodation would not be suitable at all.

Racist staff - educate them better

Could have been good but I cannot get over how badly we were treated and racially profiled in this day and age. The receptionist Natalie was so rude and racist towards us. We notified management. and guess what, she was rude to us again. We have stayed at amazing hotels all over the world and never experienced this. SHOCKING!!!! Even staff at cheaper hotels have better training then this. If you don't want people from other backgrounds then don't allow them to boo. NEVER AGAIN!

Rydges is right on the water’s edge at Port Macquarie and a great spot. We had a north facing room with a balcony and enjoyed the river inlet and open sea views. The staff from house keeping, dinning room and even the maintenance team were all very helpful. The reason maintenance was mentioned, was due to a leaking tap in our bathroom that was fixed within 30 minutes of reporting it to the front desk. The onsite trade person was very polite and prompt. Well done to Rydges for having these people on their team as they can make or break your stay experience.

Nice surprise in the centre of Port Macquarie

Really nice stayThe room was modern and newly renovated with all the expected amenities.Location is amazing right on the water and the hotel has a restaurant and bar.Nicole on the front desk was heaps of help and a gave us a warm welcome.Halfway between Sydney and the Gold Coast we will future regulars.

Perfect stop over on way to Gold Coast. Our interconnecting family room was modern, spacious, clean and comfortable in every way. Hotel looks brand new. Perhaps it has recently been refurbished. We’ve stayed at this hotel several times before, however this visit, albeit short, was the most memorable. Wish we stayed longer! Is definitely our go to hotel for Port Macquarie.
