  BASIC PUB ACCOMMODATION

  Back in August 2024 I knew I needed to be in Nelson’s Bay for the October 2025 long weekend and when I looked on hotels.com this hotel was taking bookings 15 months ahead which is unusual so I booked it. The hotel is centrally located but is a pub with rooms, albeit nicely decorated but in my case a very small room. The room looked like it had been recently renovated and had everything I need except for a desk. My only complaint about the room was that the air-conditioning didn.t work during my three night stay. The hotel has free parking but it is a small parking area and shared with patrons of the pub, restaurant and rooms.My room overlooked the carpark which is also the driveway to the drive thru bottle shop which made it a bit noisy if you opened the window which was frosted so you couldn’t see out of but it let in light.I had breakfast one morning in the hotel bar/restaurant and it was ok, but nothing special.Overall the property offers basic pub accommodation and if that is what you need it may suit your needs.

  Great location and easy parking. Room was spacious and clean. Great bed and shower. Only downside was the heat in the morning. The air con seemed to come on by itself. My room was VERY hot at 8am. Restaurant looked good but I didn’t try it. Easy walk to shops.

  Seabreeze Hotel accomodation was a great experience. Easy booking and helpful reception staff, comfortable room with modern amenities made our stay enjoyable. Super comfortable bed, soft pillows,beautiful walk in shower with great pressure, a lovely deep bathtub and double basins, plenty of soft towels made for a pleasant stay.Room serviced daily and extra pillows and blankets in wardrobe. Affordable accommodation and highly recommend staying when in Nelson Bay.Walked downstairs to the Seabreeze Hotel restaurant and had a lovely meal and staff very accommodating on a busy Saturday night as we had not made a booking. Great menu, best location in the heart of The Bay.Highly recommend Seabreeze Hotel.

  Very large room with very large bed. easy access to the marina, restaurants and shops. Free parking in the Hotel grounds is great because all parking in the area is ticketed. Staff are very attentive and the room is serviced every day. I would recommend the hotel for your stay.

  We went for the larger and more expensive room thinking that would be a real plus.The rooms 101-103 are located on the ground floor. There are larger but dark and without views. Ours was dark at a pit and pretty much under the exit drive level.You would be better off with the smaller rooms upstairs I guess..
