  Good option for multi room apartments.

  Nice size apartments with good amenities. It's old and could use some maintenance by some of the owners, but it was clearly a high quality place when it was built. Our apartment wasn't ready when we checked in and had to wait nearly an hour. The dishes were dirty when we finally got in. The master bed base was broken and needy jerry rigging to make stop the mattress sagging. The second bedroom ceiling fan failed on the second last day of our week long stay. It was a comfortable place with secure parking. Oh... The entire East side of the building (the one we were on) is completely overshadowed by the Cairns Hospital. Yes, every room has ocean views, but some are glimpses. The staff were friendly and tried to be helpful. If you like to walk, Cairns city is within 1km. There is also a bus stop right outside at the hospital and tickets are cheap. Might be worth it as parking in Cairns is expensive if you can't snag a free spot. Despite the hospital neighbour, unless there's a chopper landing over the road it's generally quiet at night. The ambulances try to avoid sirens.

  Great location needs modernised

  Chose this place as we anted 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and laundry facilities and it had all of those. View out to the esplanade was lovely and I spent some time on there of an evening. The rooms were all good proportions but could do with modernising. an easier fix would be more comfortable beds they were light and flimsy on wheels so moved around.The ensuite had an old round spa with shower above but that led to lots of water all over the floor so we kept the mop handy.Location while on the Esplanade was 20 min walk to shops and the lagoon (teenagers moaned about that).Try Bayleaf restaurant very close by for authentic Balinese meal.We enjoyed the pool and sauna again not the newest but worked well.Right next door to the hospital so good bus links to cairns central and we were not troubled by ambulance noise.In summary I would pay more for a more central location, and more comfortable beds.

  Older apartment but was really clean and spacious.

  A very clean apartment, plenty of room. A nice view out to the cairns waterfront and very quiet area. The apartment is an older style but comfortable.the staff were very helpful. The only odd thing was the old round shower/ spa with a shower curtain. But it worked and was clean. Good value for our money, when we wanted to eat out every night for the 7 days.

  Very disappointed.On arrival no reception so had to let ourselves in.Numerous things in apartment needed attention such as broken lampshade and numerous handle’s including front door handle.Misleading distance from main town and in order to walk back at night had to walk through unlit areas. Not worth the money ,but have to say it does have a great view from the apartment.

  Stay as long as you can in this delightful spot. The building itself was clean and secure. The apartment, specifically, was roomy, well maintained, and easily felt like home as soon as you walk in. Fantastic views of the ocean and mountains (and bats at sunrise!). This is on the north end of the esplanade, so it was a bit quieter but within a few minutes walk you are in the heart of the hustle and bustle of it all. I would recommend this spot highly to my friends.
