Location

The property is situated an easy walk to the centre of town, where an afternoon of Port Douglas shopping should be followed by a refreshing drink at one of the popular bars, to prepare for an awe-inspiring meal at one of the many award-winning restaurants.

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 41 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.     Highly recommend Mandalay Port Douglas, we will be back!

    We recently enjoyed 4 nights at Mandalay Port Douglas. We were in unit 10 on the ground floor which has been beautifully renovated and we had the most wonderful stay. Ruby at reception was so friendly and helpful. Late check in was super smooth and hassle free. The grounds are well kept and the location is fantastic with the beach over the road and the patrolled beach cafes and shops a short stroll away. Unit 10 had everything we needed. The kitchen is well-equipped, furniture comfortable and it has a very relaxing, calming feel to it. The resort was fairly quiet throughout our stay. Plenty of parking underground. We will definitely return and request Unit 10. I highly recommend!!     Very nice apartments close to beach

    A really good experience. The apartments are scrupulously clean and very well equipped. Perhaps 200m via a boardwalk to Four Mile beach. Port Douglas is quite small, so we were able to walk to all our dinner and other activities with ease. Only down is that the bathroom is a bit dated. Has an 80’s feel with a huge whirlpool bath (no plug available). But the bed was very comfortable, and the apartment vast. If I go back to Port Douglas I shall stay here.     Great stay at Mandalay resort. Currently refurbishing their rooms which will be great once completed. Tried to book their deluxe rooms but as it was a last minute booking i knew they would be full. Great location with beach access across the road and over a few steps to climb up and you’re there. We had a car rental and drove to Macrossan street, might be about 10mins walk therabouts into town but we were glad to have a car and just drive back after dinner. They have tennis courts and a great pool area :)

    My wife and I recently spent a wonderful four days at Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments for a wedding for our nephew. Our apartment was large and well appointed, with modern appliances and a private garden deck out the front. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. The location of the Mandalay is great, only a short, comfortable walk to the Esplanade and the CBD main street. If walking is an issue, there is a great shuttle bus service that provides transport for Port Douglas that we used for the wedding, and it runs until midnight. The beach is across the road and very easily accessible via stairs and a walkway. Would love to return to Port Douglas and the Mandalay again.     We hade a lovely spacious apartment at the back of the block. At first we were disappointed not to be overlooking the pool but soon changed our minds as the pool area was very noisy with children screaming and adults conducting business loudly on their mobile phones. It is near enough to walk into the town and the beach. The balcony was spacious and the kitchen well equipped.
