Location

The hotel is nestled in the warm heart of tropical North Queensland, close to the relaxed seaside village of Port Douglas. Set in lush tropical gardens, the hotel is located just minutes from Four Mile Beach. The resort is an ideal base from which to experience attractions located in the area, as well as the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef. A variety of restaurants, bars and shops are available for all tastes and budgets. Port Douglas offers some of the best dining experiences in North Queensland with a focus on local produce and style.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 170 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. Rooms

    Beautiful well maintained resort with amazing staff, we have stayed here a number of times over years and its presented better than ever. The whole place was clean and fresh.Looking forward to going back.

    Everything looked good at check in but that was short lived.The room looked OK but we were tired and it was late.The air-conditioning was pathetic and in drastic need of maintenance, the floor was putrid and the noise from upstairs unbearable.I'm told old to fight so just put up with it stupidly.This resort is tired and various units were being sold off to private owners. Lovely pool complex but marred by the view of some old blokes jocks hung on his makeshift clothes line outside his unit.It's got potential but needs a serious once over to whip it into shape. The staff were lovely though.

    We were very disappointed in our stay. Firstly there were renovations happening around the resort which resulted in a lot of noise. Then the room was lit up at night from the tall lights around the pool which made it really had to sleep especially for my toddler. The mattress was so old, there was a big dip in it. The breakfast buffet was not worth it. Oh and $22 for a cocktail by the pool in a tiny plastic kids cup!! We won't be staying here again.

    Love love love this place! Staff were stand out as always, the pool furniture upgrades, and fresh gardens are looking so nice.Its literally paradise, and there is nothing we can fault. Our room is a few minutes from the pool, has peace and quiet and a stunning babbling brook garden view. The room staff make it look pristine every time we stay, with extra touches such as gentle jazz music playing and soft lighting when we arrive. Comfortable and homely, just what we need to relax.Ginny, Stephanie, Myra and Jeremy on front reception go above and beyond to look after my family and I every stay. Emily and Grant in breakfast room are brilliant, yummy food choices and great coffee. Emily remembers our coffee orders everyday and Grants fresh fried eggs are always cooked to perfection. Vignesh, bars manager makes us feel welcome everytime, no matter how busy and his cocktails are scrummy! Keegan and Luke, the hanyman/caretakers simply dont stop, the effort and skill Keegan puts into everytask weve seen is superb. Finally a big shout out to Paul the GM, who had supported us in important charity work recently, with the care and attention it needs, a guy who listens, and takes action an all round great leader of this awesome resort...if you are looking for value for money, a warm welcome and extra magic moments book Oaks Port Douglas. Its the bomb! 😊
