  Must stay in Port Douglas for budget family friendly self contained apartments or villa’s available.

  We love coming to Paradise Links and are return visitors. We stayed in Apartment 51 which is on the ground floor overlooking the main pool area. The complex has beautiful tropical rainforest trees and all the activities you can think of for a family on holidays (they even have on hand basketballs, tennis rackets, soccer balls just ask at reception). The apartment had everything we need for our week stay and fit out is to a high clean standard. You need to remember it is self contained you don’t get a clean/service during your visit but there is laundry facilities within the apartment. If you want these service lots of other (not so budget friendly) options around. Our apartment even had an air-fryer which helps with quick snacks to keep the kids going between meals. So much to do in Port Douglas and surrounds this accomodation is budget friendly so you can spend more on the activities and amazing Restaurants in the area plus have the option to make meals in the apartment. We love the floor boards and tiles throughout as we are an allergy family. The management team are very accomodating with any issues you have during your stay just speak to reception. The beds are comfortable and can be configured for singles if need and has an option for a sofa bed. This is perfect for families. We had a car but there are options for a shuttle. The local IGA is walking distance from the resort. The golf course is close and offers some food options. Highly recommend for your stay in Port Douglas.

  Did not deliver what we paid for. The gas situation is a hazard in my view.

  The oven had been taken out and replaced by a cheap microwave which was at floor level. The gas for the cooktop would not stop so we had to turn it off at the main tap outside. The fans only had a slow speed. The device to open the gate for a car needed two people to operate as it was not easily accessible from a car. Entry to the resort was freely available to any pedestrian at any time. There was a shortage of cutlery so we shared. There was no phone to the office. The BBQ had no cleaning materials, no warm water for cleaning, and the fridge near was frozen solid inside. The pool was good.   A memory of a grest holiday that is indelibly stamped on our memory.

  The mark of a memorable holiday is when you come to the end of the holiday and you either 1. Want to go home or2. Want to extend your stay.If it's the former, i.e., you want to go home, it's a fair bet you want to forget your holiday. However, in our case, we wanted to extend our holiday indefinitely because it was outstanding. The Paradise Links fulfilled all our expectations. Thank you

  Beautiful, well-maintained surrounds, spacious room with large bathtub and amenities with exemplary, above and beyond service. Can’t recommend enough. My only negative is that I only stayed one night. Will definitely be back next year.

  By far the best resort I have stayed at, you will not be disappointed! The rooms were spacious and clean with balconies over looking the stunning main pool area. The owners and managers are exceptionally nice and friendly, helping us arrange a shuttle bus into town and providing anything we needed during our stay. With 5 pools, a tennis court, neighbouring golf course, bbq area, basketball hoop, and hire bikes and scooters there was so much to do for both adults and kids. The resort is beautiful with a tropical vibe throughout and overall just a relaxing atmosphere, you just need to check them out on Facebook or Instagram to see for yourself! So. If you’re looking for an affordable but high quality resort to stay at in Port Douglas then definitely choose Paradise Links, there is so much to enjoy for your holiday. We will be back again soon!
