Location

With the harbour foreshore, restaurants, casino and marina a short stroll away, the hotel is close to everything that makes Cairns a great destination. It is also just 50 m from Cairns' newest attraction - the Blue Sky Brewery. Cairns Airport is just 7 km away.

    Great hotel for a conference and tourist.

    Great hotel for a conference delegate.This hotel provided all that was needed at a reasonable price. The Cairns Conference centre is within sight from my balcony. So I couldn't get lost. A straightforward walk down the main street to a Woolworths supermarket and a $2 shop souvenirs shop. The pier for Great Barrier Reef boats is also an easy walk, as is the Aquarium and night market. The hotel provides a microwave and kettle so an economical breakfast can be achieved. Coffee, tea and decaffeinated coffee is provided. Your bed is made daily except on public holidays. The pool is on the roof, and ticks that box. You can Chromecast to the TV. My stay for 6 nights was very comfortable.

    Very nice place to stay within walking distance of restaurants, stores, esplanade, diving tours and boat quays in the downtown area

    Solid stopover hotel

    This is a solid, basic hotel for a stopover in Cairns. We stayed one night in a standard apartment and later when we returned to Cairns stayed two nights in the executive apartment. They seemed almost the same except the executive one was on a higher floor. The units are clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The building looks old, but they’ve upgraded where they could. The unit we stayed in had a washer and dryer which we used. This was great as we are traveling as lightly as possible. The units are very spacious and the television was good. If you want to see a pretty beach and experience more of a beach town while you’re here, take the 110 bus to Palm Cove. The stop is close by. It’s about a 45-minute ride. The bus costs 50 cents one-way. This hotel is very close to the cruise terminal. So you could stay here before or after a cruise and walk here from the ship.     Good hotel with everything you need - decent room size and nice bathroom. The hotel is very well located, only around 5-10 mins walk to the harbour and main parts of Cairns. Room has a fridge, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, and cups bowls plates etc - handy for having breakfast in the room and even some ready meal dinners there too if you’re keen to saving money on eating out.     Clean rooms, lovely staff. Stayed here several times and never a problem. I always request an executive upgraded room and the one I stay in has a great view over an adjoining pool and a massive tv with foxtel which is great for the kids and watching sport. Walk to everything (shops, restaurants, bars and of coarse the Casino).
