    We last stayed at the Pullman in 2018, and at the time felt it was in need of refurbishment. Well, that has now happened & the property is thriving. We checked in at 10am, expecting to leave our bags & head out to explore, but they allocated us a family room & we were able to go in immediately (straight up 5 star service). The room was fantastically appointed, and huge. It had 2 queen beds and a massive bathroom which we thoroughly enjoyed having just come from the Crystalbrook where we could barely swing a cat. Lots of towels available, but the hot water wasn't exactly hot - which isn't a big issue in a tropical destination.Overall, we had an amazing stay & can only be extremely grateful for the service we received & how wonderful the refurbishment is.     The room was very tired.Carpet needs replacing, room & hallways.Needs painting & cracks fixed.TV needs replacing about 32”Didn’t always get coffee pods Room didn’t get cleaned one day as we returned before it was done.One day we said don’t bother.     The hotel is very clean, with spacious, well-kept rooms. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I was traveling alone, and every morning they made me feel completely at ease.     Our recommendation for this Hotel couldn’t be more worthy of being ‘FIRST CLASS’ if you’re looking for a comfortable and enjoyable Stay. We are currently Guests at Pullman International Hotel for 15 Nights as we have business in the city. As a matter of fact, this stay marks our 100th or so stay here since the Hotel was opened in 1988, then developed by Dakiyo who we did much Business with in Japan through our office there in Saitama which is still operating to this Day Anyway the current Manager Mr Scott Grant and his team should be very proud of the Hotel which is managed professionally and offers outstanding services including fabulous Facilities and the delicious Food, obviously carefully created by Chef Simon Capewell Congratulations to the Management & wonderful, helpful & efficient Team at Pullman Cairns International Hotel 🏨.     We celebrated my mother's 100th birthday at the Kingsford lounge a first for the Pulman. Red carpet arrival at the front doors, beautiful signage to direct you where to go. Red carpet at the Kingsford room and a gentle long ramp for the not so mobile. Yes she walked the whole way. Excellent high tea, catered for 50, presentation and service exceptional. Seamless service, and lets not forget the events co-ordinator Miss Annalyisse. All the boxes were ticked and organised down to a T. Thank you Hugo for leading your team. And a big thank you to the chefs for creating a beautiful high tea. We have a chef in the family and she was more than impressed.
