Location

This enchanting resort enjoys a serene location on the edge of a shimmering white sandy beach, which stretches endlessly along a palm fringed shore. The centre of Port Douglas is approximately 5 minutes' drive away, or a 15-minute journey on the public transport, and there guests will find a range of restaurants, bars, pubs, nightlife spots and shops. Daintree Rainforest can be reached in around half an hour by car, and Cairns is approximately an hour's drive away. Cairns International Airport is roughly 62 km from the accommodation.

Facility

The complex has a lift and features 194 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     Our experience at Pullman Port Douglas Sea Temple Resort and Spa was truly wonderful, and a huge reason for that was Ms. Maelys Mailett, Duty Manager at the front office.We had initially only visited the property to enquire about the hotel, but after interacting with Maelys, we ended up booking immediately. Her warmth, professionalism, and impeccable hospitality completely won us over. She was incredibly welcoming, kind-hearted, patient, and made us feel genuinely valued from the very first interaction.Maelys represents hospitality at its finest — graceful, approachable, efficient, and truly passionate about guest experience.     We recently had our wedding at Pullman Port Douglas and everything was absolutely perfect! The venue was beautiful,the staff were lovely, attentive, and welcoming throughout the whole experience. The restaurant manager and Sophia went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Their care, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made our day super special! The food was delicious! All of our guests commented on how amazing everything tasted! We are so grateful to the whole team for helping create such unforgettable memories. We would highly recommend Pullman Port Douglas!

    Perfect wedding reception venue

    We had our wedding reception held at the lagoon view terrace last October and it was all beautiful. Our preparation went smooth and stressed free with the help of the hotel’s wedding and events team. They made it all happen for us. The setting was perfect and the food was very tasty. Me and my husband and all our guests really enjoyed and had fun in our celebration. It was a wonderful experience for all of us.

    Good place to stay, but not the best option

    Beautiful resort and right next to a beach which was isolated and quiet during off season. Housekeeping was great. Was disappointed in the parking options since it felt like a free for all and it was confusing trying to figure out which ones were private since they had to be closed doors to know for sure via signage. Was very disappointed in the fact that we got in late and decided to order room service via the small link located in our room— wouldn’t process the payment so we called and they claimed that they don’t do room service to the apartment styles. So we had to pick it up which was annoying, but we decided it would be fine. They didn’t even open the drinks we had so we couldn’t drink those since they required a bottle opener. No proper plates napkins or silverware provided even though we were charged for it. We got back to the room and the calamari was undercooked and inedible while the fish was poorly done as well. We would have just wrote the whole thing off if it wasn’t for the fact that the very next day people in the SAME building got room service delivered with plates and cutlery and the whole shebang.

    This is the second time we have stayed here and the pool is still great and the number 1 feature of this hotel. However it is in need of a lot of maintenance as it looks very shabby now. We had a two bedroom with plunge pool and after 3 days the pool is still not working unfortunately so just another sign of the lethargy this property demonstrates !Water runs down the walls from the air conditioning unit, and yes it is the tropics but this should not been happeningThe staff and nice and respectful but you are not getting value for money at this property any more unfortunately
