Location

This hotel enjoys an ideal location, just a short stroll from Four Mile Beach and the warm waters of the Coral Sea. It is set in a small pocket of Melaleuca Rainforest an hour north of Cairns, in the heart of the Reef and Rainforest coastal region of Tropical North Queensland. It lies 24 km from the Great Barrier Reef, 33 km from Cairns Tropical Zoo, 34 km from Palm Cove Beach and around 39 km from Trinity Beach. It is 42 km to Daintree National Park and 51 km to Cairns Airport.

Facility

The hotel has a lift and features 224 rooms. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     Dark room, no views, lights needed to be on during the day.

    Worst accommodation we have ever experienced. The room, was very dark, we had to put the lights on. The was a small window, in the corner of the room that let very little light in.There was no ambience in the room, I would not stay there and checked out after we saw the room.

    This place was amazing in almost every way. The only issue I had was reception wasn’t always the best. Some of them were great, some others seemed possibly new so hopefully they get better with time.

    Ramada by Wndham Port Douglas is a great place to visit you dont even need to leave the resort if you dont want to, the pool is amazing the restaurant had great food and plenty of variety, They put on an amazing spread for the members meet and greet. The only thing that would have made our stay more enjoyable would be, upstair rooms should have a bacony and guests should have access to an outside BBQ.

    This hotel/ resort has seen better days. The rooms are 1990's and certain aspects of the property require some improvement. The staff are friendly and helpful.Pool is tiny, as is the sunbed area...... Four Mile beach is 400m BUT you can't swim from it.The food served is swift, a narrow menu for most and slim pickings for Gluten Free customers. You'll go once... but hardly anyone has breakfast here.Look it's a Budget hotel, that serves a certain clientele. There is much competition in accommodation within the Port Douglas area.Do your homework carefully.
