Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 60 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     Boy this place needs A LOT of work

    Recently stayed at reef Club and our apartment was lovely, although it wasn’t cleaned properly. It was dusty throughout.My main concern was that the outdoor areas lacked lighting and maintenance. The front sign was not lit at night and it’s falling apart which is not a good look and quite dangerous, not only from a security point of view but also walking into resort from the main road, it’s hard to see where you are walking. It’s also scary as it’s extremely dark and the walk way towards reception is on a downward slope and you can’t see that in the dark… so all up, extremely scary! We even thought about walking out the back but that was no better. Lighting is extremely poor everywhere.I noticed also a lot of the lighting was missing throughout the gardens which again impacted the presentation of the resort.These sorts of things MUST be attended to immediately, as it’s hazardous. Any one could trip and fall. I mentioned it to management who apologized and said they would pass on our concerns.We will not be staying at Reef Club again as it seems to be getting worse in their presentation; maintenance and attention to detail. It’s all about the look and how the place is presented.If you want people to fill your resort, fix it!

    The Reef Club was amazing. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's holiday. The pool area was so relaxing and the beach was only a short walk away. The management were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.Will definitely be returning next year.     Horrendous, unhealthy and dangerous

    My elderly parents (84 and 87) stayed in Unit 33 at Reef Club. The first night the smoke detector was going off (for no apparent reason and through no fault of their own), but they could not get hold of the manager (Jose) so they had to put up with it all night. The following day the manager disconnected the smoke detector and the apartment was without one for the two weeks they were there. A few days in there was a burst water pipe in the complex and if flooded some of the apartment. My parents were forced to sleep in the second bedroom and keep putting towels down over saturated carpet. Trades people came and went for the two weeks and my parents had to leave the apartment open and airing 24 hours a day. No suitable alternative accommodation was offered and despite the manager saying they should be entitled to a refund, none was forthcoming. Both my parents and I have tried to get a refund, but the manager (Jose) and unit 33 owner have tried to avoid responsibility, even though they received the booking payment. My mum came home very sick from the wet environment and had to go on multiple courses of anti-biotics. My advice do not stay in Unit 33 or any apartment managed by the manager Jose because if you have a problem with the apartment they don’t care. Yes the smoke detector was beeping but your parents did not contact us and in the morning when they came to tell us about it I said why didn't you call us last night. Their response was because we didn't want to disturb you so late not that they were unable to contact us. There were two other operating smoke detectors in the apartment. Secondly we were unable to relocate your parents in regard to the water leak as we were full. We offered them a refund at the time if they wanted to relocate to another resort or hotel but they declined. Their choice. So therefore we tried to make them as comfortable as possible and went out of our way to make them comfortable as possible including I myself going and changing and making up the single beds for them which I offered to make into a queen size for them but they again declined.The manager offered to get you a refund through the body corp and help you with that as the leaking pipe was a body corp issue. Nothing further was heard. We do care and as I stated our many offers were declined.

    Beautiful visit with all amenities you could want

    A really nice place to stay. Lovely spacious two bedrooms with open plan kitchen dining and lounge. Lovely private patio area off our lounge with table and chairs for us to have a glass of wine out there in peace. Beautiful heated swimming pool which we could enjoy. Lovely to laze out there during the day. Great bbq area to use also. Good location to the beach a couple of minutes away. Both Lea and husband Joe were very helpful and accommodating with anything we asked about. Would really recommend this place to stay.     Great place, great location

    Stayed at reef club a few times now and always enjoyed the place as a base for our trip. The location is walking distance to the beach and main st, which is the best if you don’t have a car and 2 little ones. The room was comfortable and for the price it was the most affordable for us and it’s nice to have a bit of space for a family of four. Pool and tropical garden always nice. This is a good casual place to stay. Can’t wait to visit again.
