I’d like to thank the customer service staff who assisted in amending my reservation on 4/5/26 due to a family emergency. I also appreciate the evening curators on 5/5/26 who promptly resolved my concern regarding the poor air-conditioning regulation in Room 224, including upgrading my room without hesitation to ensure a comfortable stay.Overall, I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was quiet and clean, and room service was consistently on point throughout my visit.

I can understand why the ratings for this hotel are good, but my experience wasn't so good. I came as a Canberra local for aone night solo staycation. Overall the room and hotel look beautiful. However I had some issues.Service was a little sketchy. I was almost overcharged $200 on checkin and declined a late checkout even though it was part of the booking (although that was corrected) the incorrect food delivered for dinner and items on the in room options list not available.My biggest issue was noise. I was on the 4th floor and could hear everything happening outside like it was next to me. Also the way the kitchennete/robe has been set up amplifies the sound of the fridge (which was crazy loud) and my room was right outside the lift relay room, so loud clicking noises every time the lift was used. At around 3am I decided it wasn't worth it and drove home. Work needs to be done on soundproofing. If you get room 425, ask for a new one!
