  The worst place I’ve stayed and the worst customer service. Refused to give a full refund after I complained about the state of the apartment and had to book somewhere else to stay Unhygienic, smelly and unsafe. Do not book this accommodation, especially if you have a child with you!

  Stayed here and was struck immediately by the stagnant sour stink of what I can only describe as a mixture between a man’s body odour and bleach the minute we opened the door. The smell was in the bed and pillows despite the sheets being clean. We were out for the day so left some windows open and this helped on return but not completely. It’s like the room hadn’t been aired in years. Stagnant. The lounge infront of the tv had completely lost its shape and was more like a beanbag. There were a couple of big stains on carpet. Gross brown squirted mark on wall my partner wiped off with a wet wipe. Curtain pulled and broken falling off curtain rail. Not all windows fitted with fly screens and those that did were filthy and dusty as were the windowsills. There was obviously sad ko y damage to the bathroom spa bath which had been mended with an ugly yellow smear of some fixative which was visually unappealing and my kid refused to bathe in it as a result if it being “gross”. In the kitchen the floor tiles were dirty and looked like it literally hadn’t been swept/vacuumed or mopped. There were also at least 3 dead black beetle insects on kitchen floor. Was going to complain but didn’t as didn’t want to upset my partner who had thought he had booked a fancy apartment for our time away in Canberra. The lift and walkway on our floor and even our front door were filthy too. This place seriously needs new cleaners! We walked past a cleaner on our floor once and she looked cranky and didn’t smile at us as we passed each other despite us smiling and saying “hi” politely.

  Tired Rooms Price Gouged during Music Festival

  Mediocre rooms, not very good. Which makes it all the worse that they commit a shocking level of price gouge during the Spilt Milk Festival, when they jack their prices up 150%; A room that's normally $149 ('flexible' rate because they turned off the cheaper rate) was cranked right up to $379! What a rort!We frequently visit Canberra to see family members studying at ANU but will give this greedy motel-type joint a hard pass from now on.

  A very dodgy hotel that advertises "pay at property" option for a higher price, then tries to charge you on the day of booking. Then, simply cancels the booking without contacting the customer or explaining the reason. I can't believe that service like this exists in Canberra.

  DO NOT STAY HEREOn our first night here we noted that the door into the room had a broken hinge and needed to be forced shut.We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment room 221. The rooms are filthy, stains all over the couch, carpets and the doonas. -One doona even had blood stains. Something you would think house keeping would notice.The double bed in the main room is broken one mattress has broken springs in the middle and the other is broken on one entire side. ( two mattresses pushed together ) Making it the most uncomfortable sleep. This bed also has white stains on the bottom of the bed fabric. In the second room one of the mattress also has broken springs. The second bedroom has a power point behind the bed head that is hanging from the wall.The bathrooms are dirty with cobwebs hanging over the shower head and mould, the soap dispensers have so much crime build up. The tiles in the bathroom are covered in what appears to be dirt or makeup spots.Upon arrival back at the hotel on the second day we noted the door was open after being out for 12 hours.I contacted the office and was told a manager would contact me the following day, it was apparent the cleaners had left it ajar as the only thing that was taken from the room was the garbage. This made my family very uncomfortable and concerned someone else could have entered the room while we were out. We received no phone call about this.These rooms are clearly not cleaned, this is evident in the filthy floors, walls and back of doors. On one door someone has written in the grime ( F xxx king filthy)This morning I checked out and spoke with the male Manager of the property, he was dismissive of my complaints and continually stated there is nothing I can do, I said no one had contacted me to which he stated he went to our room yesterday to find us. In relation to the cleaners he stated there was nothing he could do as they are sub contracted through a cleaning company. This manager took absolutely no accountability for the service he was providing I would strongly earge anyone considering this property to look elsewhere as it is definitely overpriced for the substandard condition you will endure.I have taken pictures to add to this review, when I spoke to the manager this morning I said I would be reviewing the property and he questioned why I would have taken pictures.
