  Great location, close and central to everything to were I needed to go.Decent comfy bed, and choice of firm or soft pillow as well provided. Clean and tidy room, and very quiet. Surprisingly had a good night sleep.Check out was easy, dropping room key in box provided as left early for return to Sydney.Only slight problem was trying to open the room door, as it took couple of goes to get the door handle going after inserting the room card/key.Plenty of onsite parking too, close to reception and rooms.

  Pretty standard very bland also air con is bad we were here just for looking at stuff in Canberra luckily because we found it very expensive but not great at least the staff were nice and the restaurant looked very clean and nice overall I don’t recommend unless here for business

  Big space, affordable price

  We booked this room for a night as a stop over on our way to Sydney. Room is pretty basic but large (in the past we stayed at Ibis Budget which is really small so I'm surprised that this one has a pretty large space despite the price). We just paid around 140 AUD for a night. We had a comfortable stay... Only negative is they don't have a rote to the tv so my son was not able to use it. Oh, btw if you're arriving late, you should notify reception as they close early.

  Desperately in need of renovation

  The Good:Free parking Reasonably fast and stable free wi-fiAircon quiet and worked wellComfortable and huge king bedsGood size unitGood size wardrobes/storageThe Bad:Bathrooms stank. Had to open every window for hours before venturing back in there.Curtains were broken and ripped.Lounge was old and very uncomfortable.Housekeeping terrible. Place did not look clean and there were stains on towels. Unfortunately my towel had so many marks/stains that it was unusable. How could housekeeping miss this?Gaping holes and cracks in bathroom tiles. Paint peeling off walls. Dirty wall and floor tiles.Shower door did not close.This place desperately requires a renovation. At the very least needs a deep clean, new lounges and curtains and maintenance issues fixed. And new, clean towels!

  Dreadful experience- be cautious

  Dreadful experience here. I’ve stayed in many hotels across Australia and unfortunately this was one of the worst. - When we arrived, we wait approx 10-15 minutes while the reception clerk was on the phone. Not once during the call did he quickly say to us ‘sorry I’ll just be a minute’, and when he got off the phone he didn’t apologise for the inconvenience at all or didn’t even thank us for your patience. This is basic customer service and as someone who worked in customer service for many years I was not impressed. - The room was extremely stuffy and had a bad smell when we arrived- I think due to windows etc being closed. The smell stopped mostly after we opened the windows but before that the smell was really bad. - For some reason our TV didn’t have the two main free-to-air TV channels (Prime and WIN). We cycled through every channel multiple times just to make sure we weren’t going crazy (to no avail). - A couple of the towels had marks on them (one a red mark which hopefully wasn’t a blood stain, andanother had a brown mark). - Some of the curtains had rips in them. There were also some blood stains on some of the bedsheets. - The lounge was one of the most uncomfortable we’d ever sat on. We found the dining chairs more comfortable ironically. - The carpark area seemed quite unsafe. Most times we went outside during the night there were people loitering about smoking/drinking etc near the cars. We didn’t end up having issues with them but people out there for a lot of the night created an uneasy vibe. - One of the shower doors didn’t close fully, and the other shower door’s handle was really low making it a bit of a pain to open the door. Also we were hoping the use the supplied shower products but unfortunately most of the writing on the bottles were too worn away to see what was actually in them. The two positives I can think of are that the bed was fairly comfortable/easy to sleep in and the showers had good water pressure. And there was sufficient parking despite what I’ve said above.
