    Very pleasant stay for 5 days on a Luxury Escape deal . Well worth it .In Luce breakfast ,parking and free drink each night Comfortable room overlooking water and pool . Can be noisy when band downstairs but finished at a reasonable time Wouldn’t want to be here around the pool during school holidays ,but pleasant early Feb for pool relaxing Great breakfast . Very pleasant staff on reception Jeorgia and Michelle and lovely girls doing breakfast Didn’t eat in main restaurant and food downstairs like pub food . One unfortunate room service experience ,but overall we really enjoyed our 5 days stay in pretty Terrigal at the Crowne Plaza Would recommend Lunch is terrific at Surf Club btw

    it is a tired place, but very clean and everyone works hard to keep you happy. need new mattresses and pillows (management, please strongly consider).

    Disappointing experience at Crowne Plaza. Check-in took almost two hours, which was extremely frustrating after a long journey. Bar service was also very slow, with long waits to be served. On top of this, the room provided was not what I had requested or booked. Overall, the service did not meet the standard expected of this hotel.     The location was amazing, and we enjoyed the upgrade in room to ocean view. One downside was discovering at bed time, there was no extra linen to make up the sofa bed for the kids, when they were definitely on the booking. The staff that provided the linen were apologetic, but I'm sure this could have been avoided if the room was setup correctly on check in.Although relatively clean, our children did find a used lip balm next to the sofa bed, which then lead us to find clothing stickers on the ottoman and what appeared to be dust on the counter.The pool area is great, however the astro turf is terrible in the hot weather and despite the warning signs when young children are in and out of the area not the best experience dealing with burnt feet.

    A fantastic trip with our 2 young kids (5 & 6). A real “old school style” 5 star hotel experience. The rooms (whilst maybe “dated”), were very comfortable and spacious and we had no noise issues at all.The kids had so much fun by the pool which catered for all levels of swimming. The hotel made every effort to put on fun activities for the kids over the holidays like a treasure hunt style passport game and movie nights.I’m often disappointed by the staff at 5 star hotels in Australia. But the staff here were the highlight and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied. The team accommodated last minute moving our room to a different floor to be next to another family we were travelling with. The staff in the dining hall were very attentive despite it being so busy.Jess (at front desk) was genuinely interested in our young kids and making them feel like little grown ups. Which made their day and made our stay very special.Thank you and highly recommended.
