  Homeless people roam the car park asking for money, and drunk or drug-affected individuals were yelling in the road near Coles at around 2 a.m.I stayed for three nights.• First night: A couple in the next room argued nonstop yelling, banging items around, and repeatedly slamming their door. I called management at 1 a.m. but only reached voicemail. They returned my call after 8 a.m., which was far too late to help.• Sunday night: This was by far the worst. A large Indigenous family appeared to have booked three rooms and held a party. They gathered in the garden area near the pool, drinking, yelling, and blasting music with a medium-sized subwoofer from one of the rooms. They also took outdoor furniture belonging to other guests, including mine.I went to reception, and the manager—who was unaware of the situation—asked them to stop once. Five minutes later, the music and yelling were even louder. This continued until rain forced them indoors around 11 p.m. However, the noise didn’t stop doors kept banging constantly.Around eight children (approximately 8–10 years old) were running and yelling through the hotel, swearing at each other and banging on guests’ doors until about 1 a.m. on Monday morning, when a woman finally called out that it was time for bed.At around 11 p.m., when I went outside to check my car, one of the children (around 8 years old) pushed his way into my room. He ran around as if looking for something to steal and shoved past me when I tried to stop him. After that, I moved my car, stayed inside the room, and lay awake on the bed in my clothes until morning.This hotel is a nightmare if you expect to sleep.There is no night management, and staff only respond after 8 a.m. when they return to work. The lack of security and assistance makes this place completely unsuitable for a peaceful stay.

  Disgraceful unhygienic

  we found the room in a state of disgrace. The spa water had a brown residue floating on top when used, which was extremely unhygienic. Additionally, there was blood on the quilt, which is completely unacceptable and unsanitary.

  We stayed for 2 nights at this motel. The room was spacious, clean and being on the ground floor we had parking right in front of our room. There is ample parking around the motel. The bathroom and toilet is quite big. Checking was easy. What we liked was that there were eating places within walking distance of the motel. There is a Coles and ALDI very close by across the road. Hungry Jacks is about 250 meters across the road. Other restaurants are a short walk to the right after leaving the motel driveway.There was a simple breakfast provided. Not exactly a sit down one. Pick your packet cereal, small muffins, fruits from the fridge. There are 2 Nespresso capsule machines where you can make your own coffee. Although the room itself has the usual sachet coffee and tea bags. There is also a microwave in the room.

  Stayed here for 1 night while driving north from Melbourne.Accomadation was l what you would expect from a motel. Bed was fine. Price was good. Room was clean.Would recommended based on value for money and my experience. Would stay again if in the area.

  We had a lovely stay at the Select Inn Gosford! The motel's Thai restaurant is very well reviewed. The motel has a lovely internal courtyard and swimming pool. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with renovated bathrooms. The continental breakfast was very nice, highlights were delicious muffins, a range of cereals and portions of Gouda cheese.
