Great place to stay!

First timers, Motel was very easy to find, all though a little out of the way. Rooms are very quiet, modern, clean, spacious & very comfortable. Lovely cane furniture. Great little kitchenette with a good side small fridge, with everything provided. Plenty of off street parking. We ate at the lovely restaurant across the street for dinner. Very close to the airport & sporting facilities. Also no problem getting into CBD. Would thoroughly recommend great value for money.

We stay in Mackay twice a year on our way from Melbourne to Cairns and on our way back down again. We have mainly stayed at the same Motel but it has really deteriorated , with maintenance neglected and cleaning not what it was . We tried a new motel on the way up , it was awful. I don’t do a lot of reviews only awful and good.This one is really great , clean , quiet and spacious. Reasonable priced.The friendly cleaning lady we spoke with told us she used to work at our previous motel and agreed with our comments.We stayed 2 nights and will stay again.twall

Mackay beachside stay!

This motel is located in East Mackay right across the road from a park and a beach, and a 6-minute drive from the CBD. We stayed in a well-designed spacious room with a comfortable Queen bed, kitchenette, lounge room and modern bathroom. This is a great option for a beachfront stay at Mackay if you have your own wheels.

Under new management in January, had not stayed prior to this, but was extremely happy with my recent stay. Great location. Right across the street from a park and beach access. Nice and quiet, but mostly, beautiful, large, modern, CLEAN rooms. Fridge larger than most in standard motel rooms which is a huge plus. Very affordable. I only paid $143 on a Friday night of school holidays.I grew up in Mackay and so return often to visit family. I will never stay anywhere else in Mackay again now.Thank you so much!

Tina, you are a star! So very friendly and the perfect host. Nothing was a trouble. The room was SPOTLESS and had everything we needed. I have over 10 years experience in accommodation management and drive my family made with oh ifthey just did this or did that or oh goodness that's not acceptable but from the instant we spike to you on the phone we had a good feeling. When I opened the door we both looked at each other and said "oh this is nice and clean". We live approx. Two and a half hours from town so it's an effort to get groceries,let alone when you have appointments. We have just found our perfect stopover.Thank you so much
