Nice place to stay, but pricey
04 Jul 2026
The room was really nice with a great view. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable enough. The aircon though rattled all night and kept me awake. We ordered breakfast to our room, but when it arrived it was missing bacon that we ordered and looked like it had been kicked around the kitchen, didn't resemble anything like eggs bene by the time it arrived in its cardboard boxes. Quite a pricey stay, expected some things to be a bit better RivermarqueHM, at Oaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel, responded to this review Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness of your room, the comfortable bed, and the beautiful view during your stay.We sincerely apologise that the air conditioning noise impacted your sleep quality. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will have our maintenance team investigate the issue. We were also sorry to hear that your breakfast experience did not meet your expectations. While our standard Eggs Benedict does not include bacon unless it is ordered as an additional item, we regret that the presentation of your meal was disappointing and did not arrive in the condition you expected. We value all guest feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement and enhance the experience we provide. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide a stay that exceeds your expectations.Kind regards,ManagementOaks Mackay Rivermarque Hotel
