  Location is excellent close to main drag. Rooms are a bit dated bit quite big by hotel standards, excellent for the baby who is crawling and starting to walk.Recommend the Armidale Pines.   Pleasantly surprised that the room was so spacious, with a kitchenette. Our room was really quiet and we were very comfortable. The location is great, close to main shopping area. Highly recommend visiting the Thai restaurant across the road.   Best shower for our entire holiday.

  Always a very welcoming, clean, fresh stay. Best shower for our 2 weeks away, the pressure was amazing. Great location with excellent eating places one block away.This has been our Armidale stop over the past 5 years. We choose to eat at the White Bull.

  Some good points but....

  We had three nights here and it was quite pleasant - we had a nice big room with a desk, a table and a big kitchenette area. However I noticed the bathroom wasn't terribly clean. The bed wasn't made properly on the day we asked for service, so I had to remake it. The bed was also very low down and not all that comfortable, and there wasn't enough storage space for clothes. If you were staying for more than a few days it would be tricky. The location is quite good, with fast food outlets and a milk bar near, and not too far to walk for the main shopping street and better eating places. The reception staff member was helpful with local information. The weather was showery when we were there, and so I hung a jacket outside my room to dry while I was inside, in a period of sunshine. An hour later it had disappeared!! That was a worry - although when I went over to reception they had it. That's a first for me in a motel! Thank you also for the feedback regarding the bed as we have not had this feedback previously and will definitely check the bed's comfort. Regarding clothes storage there is a large wardrobe in all rooms which is usually suitable for most guests however we have noted your feedback regarding longer stays. Overall we were pleased to learn that you enjoyed the room size, location, local conveniences, and the reception staff's service.   Best Motel by a longshot

  We booked this Motel direct whilst in transit between Grafton and Armidale. My call was answered by an extremely friendly and most helpful gentleman. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the size and layout of the room.Every detail had been well thought and extremely clean. The managers were very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas and very quick to recommend nearby places to eat that were not disappointing. The motel is well situated in the town with all services within easy walking distance. This motel is run very efficiently by two very friendly and switched on managers. We certainly would stay again and have already recommended it to fellow travellers we have met on our journey.
