Facility

English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The campsite has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the campsite feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A desk is provided. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Campsite has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Heated indoor and outdoor pools, filled with salt water, ensure comfortable swimming. There is a children's swimming area as well. A waterslide provides fun for all ages. The sun loungers are perfect for soaking up some sun. There are many ways to relax or stay active campsite, including cycling/mountain biking, golf, fishing, horse riding, table tennis and bowling. A dance club and a nightclub are also options for entertainment.

The dining area includes a restaurant and a bar.

    Perfect for young families

    We made some really great memories with our 3 young children. It's perfect for kids and we especially loved the water park. A fantastic area where we could wallow in the heated pool and watch the kids on the water slide at the same time. The cabin itself was clean and spacious to our needs. It was also affordable and close to the Zoo and main town. I would highly recommend this park for young families!

    drive thru sites are very narrow with no room to put out your awning. Amenities were clean and tidy. caravan park is clean and tidy with good camp kitchen.     Crowded Discovery Park

    Dubbo Discovery Park is typical of busy child friendly parks. Our accomodation in standard cabin was basic and expensive, however cabin was clean. We stayed there to be close to our grandchildren for a Dubbo zoo visit. Pool was crowded, park streets very busy with bikes and scooters. Park is not really suitable for more mature couples who are not caravanning!!     Great place for families

    We stayed at this park for 1 night on our way to Birdsville. The park was super crowded. There is a great play area for kids and the park is close to the zoo and a quick drive to the town centreWe were in a site across from the amenities block so it was a bit difficult to get into but each site has plenty of room so you dont feel hemmed in. There are drive through sites available. The amenities are very clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.     Hardest working Caravan Park!!

    We had a great experience at park. We saw how hard Justin and the team worked on a daily basis (in the heat!!) to keep all the amenities looking fab for an enjoyable stay. Our kids (13 to 7 yo) loved this park from the pool to the activities and the food trucks. I loved that staff took the time to know the kids names (they will remember ❤️). We wish you all the best in the coming year to make even more improvements to the park. It’s looking so good already! Touristy reasons to stay at this park:- The Safari Park is right around the corner (tip: your ticket gets you in on consecutive days!!).- It’s only a quick walk up the road for dinner at Club Dubbo (check the website for special nights and raffles).- The golf club across the road does meals too but you need to book as they are popular! - Main Street is just up the road too. Lots of speciality shops, including Myer.- The Dubbo Gaol is in the Main Street and was the highlight of the trip for us. Make sure to check out for guided tour and the daily reenactment.
