  Zero customer service, unable to get a tax receipt.

  It is a cheap motel and pretty much of the standard expected for the price; nothing special and clean enough.The office was never staffed despite showing times on the door. Could not get a tax receipt. Motel contacted 5 times by phone/web messaging/booking service and no response at any time. Totally unsatisfactory. I guess the nicest thing you can say is the motel is consistent. Customer service does not exist.All the outside areas smelt of cigarette smoke. Parking spaces too small and exit from the car park can be difficult if you don't choose well.The Thai restaurant is very good but it doesn't seem to be run by the motel.I won't be staying there again even though I go to the Canberra area 4 or 5 times a year.

  Stay if price is the only thing that matters

  Good location and price. But I should have been wary - despite it having a good rating on TripAdvisor, it really is only a 2 star at most. Lots of dust, cleaning not a priority, dirty handmarks on doors, old and dated. Crockery mismatched, kettle on its last legs. Bed ok, which is really important. Towels crunchy and old. Everything is dated. The usual motel compendium was covered in dried food and I didn't want to touch it. No smoke detector - I thought that was mandatory - I will ring Council/Firies and ask about that.

  Not wheelchair accessible even thought they said it was and have been chasing a refund for months

  ? 1/5We booked a room after being reassured over the phone that they had wheelchair-accessible accommodation. The receptionist advised us to book via Booking.com, which we did. However, upon arrival we discovered the room was not wheelchair accessible. While my partner could access the room itself, he could not use the bathroom at all.This left us scrambling to find suitable accommodation nearby — which was very difficult as it was a long weekend. We were told we would need to cancel through Booking.com and once the motel confirmed it, they would refund our money. We did as instructed, but we still have not received a refund.Not only were we unable to stay due to the lack of accessibility, but we ended up paying for two separate accommodations for four nights, leaving us significantly out of pocket. We have called multiple times to follow up and are repeatedly told that “the message will be passed on to the owners.” We were also told that other guests are still waiting on their refunds.Very disappointing experience — accessibility should be taken seriously, and refunds should be processed promptly when accommodation cannot be used as promised.

  Couldn’t Wait to Leave

  Don’t be deceived by photos of rooms at this hotel. The sheets, blinds and curtains were dirty and the room smelt of dog. The bedside lights are way too bright. There is no power on one side of the bedThe WiFi password was nowhere to be found. I had to go to reception and was given a handwritten password that was a nine digit number, that annoyingly had one numeral wrong. I wasted 30mins trying it.The main room roller blind wouldn’t budge up or downWindows don’t lock and we were on the ground floor.There was no smoke detector.No hand towels are issued.

  Nice enough accommodation bed comfy cleanliness needs a bit of work eg around dispenses and extraction fans mirrors but over all good night sleep breakfast was available but didn’t eat there explored the local cafes parking needs to be allocated or make people pay for taking up two parking spot
