    Booked to stay for a work trip and when I went to check in, office was closed. - Rang A/H phone line multiple times - rang out. - Rang A/H emergency number multiple times - call rejected every time. - Rang ACCOR customer assistance - couldn't get a hold of them either. - Forced to book another hotel.

    Bad Mother's Day

    Stayed overnight (Sunday Mother's Day) with my wife. We were advised we got the last room available with 2 beds. We were also assured the motel had received no complaints about traffic noise as all windows are double-glazed. We stayed in room 36, closest to the main road, it wasn't quiet. Road noise was somewhat muted but noticeable. The room itself wasn't good. It was dirty - chairs in the main room were badly stained and looked dreadful. The bathroom had dust and dirt on the floor and a step-in-the bath shower. For some reason an unused loose wall or floor tile was situated on the bathroom vanity. The toilet didn't flush properly which added to the miserable experience. Just aweful.The beds were extremely uncomfortable, like sleeping on an unforgiving surface of rope.I would have liked to speak to the receptionist and voice our concerns/feelings about the above during check-out, but Reception was closed at 7.55am .Have stayed in a number of Fairmont hotels around the world and assumed the other end of the scale in Ibis accommodation would be in line with Accor's reputation. Unfortunately not so. Very disappointed that Accor offers such a low level of accommodation.Review ratings are quite good for this motel on Trip Advisor and Booking.com. Guess we were just unlucky to get that room.

    Arrived to discover that the restaurant was closed and wouldn't be open at all over the weekend. Could order room service that night. Everything offers wifi however neither of us could get any device online.For us that was a major fail. Staff were not able to do anything, in fact didn't feel like they were too interested. One blamed roadworks for the NBN being down but none were evident. The bed was comfortable and the showers hot, thats about it.

    The hotel is under new management & is gradually being renovated. The restaurant has been revamped already. It has a wonderful ambiance. We had dinner 2 nights & enjoyed both meals. The menu is small but very good. We had breakfast one morning which was a bit disappointing. The rooms are definitely in need of the renovations that are planned for the near future. We did find that it was odd that the dinnerware in our room was not changed. There wasn’t any detergent in the room to do it ourselves & we missed swapping out when reception was open. The hotel is situated well for wineries & site seeing. The staff were very friendly. Would be good to go back when the renovations are complete.

    Friendly staff, easy fast check in and out. A decent sized room with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was very clean with individual toiletries available. All in all I will definitely be back
