    The Receptionist has got to be the rudest person I have ever met in a reception role! Unwelcoming, unhelpful and just plain rude! Rooms are not clean, mould in the shower, used tissues under the bed. Be careful which room you choose. Our Heritage Spa room was like a shoebox.The proximity to town is the only thing this motel has going for it. Would not recommend

    There is lots of accommodation in broken hill (which claims to have a city centre), its no city, maybe that's why they all have a bad attitude, including the reception staff at this prison like filthy, disgusting excuse accommodation, AVOID

    Lovely venue, close to everything. Well priced. Clean with all you need in the way of amenities and very generous with consumables compared to other places we have stayed. New friendly owners gradually renewing maintenance issues that have been previously neglected. Comfy bed, great shower.

    I chose a deluxe queen room as I wanted to be in the house and not in the outer building. It is your classic country hotel which hasn’t been updated in decades but the bed was comfortable and the room clean. One thing we found weird was they can only supply one key per room and the front desk is only open 8-8pm so you have to ensure you go back together or work out were to leave a key. The pool is small and was closed even though the weather was quite warm. It is a 10 minute walk to the Main Street and we felt quite safe walking home at night. The lady at reception was very unfriendly which was odd as everyone else we met seemed to be very friendly. My blinds didn’t close properly, which if you are in Room 12, you have every one walking past. Would I stay very again - probably not, but I wouldn’t say don’t stay here. They do have free parking if you have a car.

    The hotel was ok although feels like it needs a facelift. Good location not far from town. Room was a bit dingy and the pool was closed even though it was hot weather. The woman at reception was very unfriendly and a bit rude. Possibly the only unfriendly person we met in Broken Hill all week.
