Beautiful accommodation! Great base for Tumby Bay

We stayed in a self-contained free-standing chalet at Modra’s and thoroughly loved it! The location is decent, very close to the waterfront and just a short drive to the restaurants and grocery store. Our chalet seemed to be very new and modern, well-designed, bright and airy – overall very comfortable. We had a full kitchen/living/dining area plus a couple of bedrooms. The TV, Wifi, and AC all worked very well. There was also a nice outdoor seating area which you can enjoy the nice weather. Everything was clean and comfortable and we had a very quiet and peaceful stay. Highly recommended to other travelers looking for a great base in Tumby Bay.

Great For Short or Longer Stays

Recently spent a night at Modra's Apartments, en route to Ceduna. The property has quite a number of stand alone, old style villas, which are in the process of being modernised and refurbished. I think the owner (very friendly and welcoming) said that at this stage they had completed 14 units.The units themselves are stand alone from the others, with a drive in carport, where a charger has been installed for EV owners.Our unit was one of the refurbished ones. Very roomy, freshly painted, new flooring & furnishings, all of which makes the unit look nice and fresh. Very comfortable bed. Fully equipped kitchen, full size fridge. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom/laundry. The shower hasn't been updated but this does not deflect from the main section.The villas are a fair distance from the town centre, which is walkable on a good day, but I think most would probably drive to the town centre for hotels/restaurants. All in all a very pleasant & comfortable stay. The current owners are doing a very good job updating the villas, which would be very suitable & equipped for longer stays.

Had a lovely short getaway at this hidden gem in Tumby Bay. My apartment had been recently renovated and was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The kitchenette had everything I needed, the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room. The apartments are set amongst lovely gardens making it feel like you are the only one here! The hosts, Grant and Yasmin were super friendly and accommodating. All up, I’d highly recommend a stay at this delightful little spot.

Fabulous time at Modra's Apartments

Our experience at Modra's over the past 2 weeks has been fabulous. The new owners went out of their way to accommodate our large family and some additional needs. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Their communication was excellent and they were so easy to work with. The rooms were clean and well appointed with facilities including a washing machine and dryer. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for 7 days would definitely recommend to stay here Damien was so helpful the bed is very comfortable it’s very clean it has everything you want even has a washing machine And dryer we will definitely return to its very quiet overnight I’m so glad we found this place
