  First ever review first ever complaint to chef thats probably forced to cook what they're given. Never ask for more food and give a hard working chef a reason to spit in your food. First night burnt pizza. Second night dried plastic tasting gnocchi pan fried with unsliced mushrooms and dead unalived maybe not even spinach. No parmesan no asparagus no crispy sage. Add dry chicken.My complaint received with attitude from duty manager and offered a couple of free beers. No apologies just go drink more.Have been regular stayers for work for a long time even with the ridiculous price hike on accomadation and beers but will never eat or drink here again.Domino's beats this crap and has way better customer relations. Regardless of supply challenges or kitchen pressures, the responsibility sits with us to ensure meals leaving the pass are of good quality and match the menu description.More concerning is your experience when raising the issue. Offering a couple of beers without a genuine apology or properly addressing your concerns does not reflect the level of professionalism we expect from our duty managers. Feedback — even when it’s hard to hear — should always be met with respect.We also want to be clear: no guest should ever feel uncomfortable about raising an issue with their meal. Our chefs and team are professionals, and complaints should be handled constructively, never defensively.Your comments regarding value, consistency, and customer service have been noted and will be discussed internally.   Poor sound insulation.High pitch squeal from people showering next door and from the birds at 5am. Super expensive pub prices for meals and drinks.Outside looks like dump even though the rooms have been nicely refurbished. We have had the shower looked at since your stay and have rectified this issue. Would love some more feedback on how we can improve the aesthetics outside. Our team works hard to ensure the grounds are kept well maintained, walkways and roads are clear, free from rubbish, fallen debris, and anything else that needs tidying up!   Stay here now while away on work trips . The rooms have been refurbed and very nicely done. The pub on site has also had a revamp. Food is good, can be noisy, views over the lake. Inside and outside dining.

  On 9 September at around 21:44, I experienced one of the most disgraceful incidents at Kondari Hotel’s pokies area – something I can no longer ignore.I am not a casual visitor; I come here almost every night and spend a significant amount of money. Normally, guests are treated with basic hospitality, often even receiving complimentary items. However, whenever the red-haired staff member is working, the treatment changes dramatically – no water, no courtesy, not even the simplest gesture of hospitality. Tonight was the worst example yet.My mother asked for iced water and was rudely refused. When I asked again, I was harshly scolded and told I would not be served, while all other customers around us were served without issue. After deliberately ignoring us, the staff reluctantly gave me a beer I ordered – yet still refused to provide my mother with water. Eventually, a glass of water was placed in front of us, but because of the way we were treated, I did not allow my mother to drink it – I no longer trusted that staff member.Later, when there was a minor machine issue, we called for assistance. She came, fixed it, and despite everything I still thanked her. She did not respond – instead she looked at me with hostility and walked away quickly without a word.This was not a busy time; the venue was quiet. There is no excuse. The only conclusion is that my mother and I were subjected to deliberate, hostile, and discriminatory treatment. If this staff member dislikes her job, she should not be in hospitality. Her unprofessional, aggressive, and discriminatory behavior is unacceptable and deeply damaging to the hotel’s reputation.I want to make it clear that not all staff are like this. On weekends, the lady who serves us always makes us feel valued and respected. She is the reason I continued to come back. From now on, I will avoid visiting on the days the red-haired staff member is working.I have never written a negative review about any business before, but I cannot overlook the way my mother was treated tonight. To humiliate loyal customers, deny them water, and respond with hostility even when shown politeness is appalling. This type of conduct has no place in a hotel that claims to value its customers Kondari Hotel, General Manager at Kondari Resort, responded to this review This is being dealt with by HR, the Venue Manager takes these things very seriously and escalated it as soon as this occured. I apologise for such a negative experience but hope you join the rest of us again, please don't let one negative outweigh all the positive over the years of service. I do know that Paul reached out to you to discuss this matter but I urge you to come in and discuss the matter with him.
