Location

The hotel is located on the Esplanade overlooking the Urangan Boat Harbour, offering direct access to the outdoor cafés and restaurants that accentuate the al fresco atmosphere of the surroundings. Guests will find the beach around 500 m from the hotel. The bus station is roughly 7 km away.

Facility

The apartment hotel welcomes guests in a 6-storey building with 2 lifts and 153 non-smoking rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, a safe and a drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected.     Old and outdated hotel!

    The view from our room overlooking the harbour and K'gari was nice, but the overall impression of the hotel is that it is old, outdated and worn ☹️

    Don't go till all the maintenance issues are fixed!

    Needs updating and maintenance. We were originally booked in Tower 2 but we're told that the lift was out of order and would we be happy to walk up 4 flights of stairs. We said no and were moved to Tower 1.The gate from the reception to the pool area was out of order. So to get to the pool we had to walk through a car park on the grass around Tower 2, where there were traffic cones marking drains to get to the back gate to the pool. This meant no toilets at the pool. The children's pool was out of order.There was a slab of concrete path missing with orange temporary fencing around it in the pool area and right in our view of the marina.On our arrival we had a code to the car park gate. On day 2 and for the rest of our stay (6 nights) this gate was open (out of order). This meant anyone could access any part of the Resort at any time.The manager ( I presume) excuse for everything was " we are waiting for parts"The exterior steps were dirty with pieces of edging tape missing.Positives: The room was clean. The staff were friendly. The bed comfortable.We would not recommend this hotel to our friends 😕

    Worth it for the view!

    Absolutely stunning view from the room (Marina facing) - easy to walk to all our tours and about 15 mins walk to the Jetty. We didnt have car - so not easy to grab any essentials but we were happy to eat out for all meals for the 4 days. The pool is lovely, staff on reception are very friendly and rooms are comfortable. Could do with an update in the rooms but we had a great time and would stay again!

    Having stayed at this property around 5 times and being a silver Accor member we were surprised we seemed to have been assigned the worst room in the hotel. Badly flickering bathroom light when turned on, the loudest bar fridge ever, I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Tiny balcony and everything is just so tired and run down. They don’t seem to keep guest history as we have never had reception welcome us back. Such a great location but we will not be staying there again.

    A Relaxing Family Getaway at Mantra Hervey Bay

    We stayed at Mantra Hervey Bay during the school holidays and had a lovely time as a family. The serviced apartments were clean, well-appointed, and offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, with beautiful marina views and a great selection of restaurants just a short stroll away. It made dining out with the kids a breeze, with plenty of family-friendly options close by.Parking in the secure area was a bit tricky when returning later in the evening, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker; just something to keep in mind if you're planning a busy day out. The hotel amenities were decent, though we were a little disappointed that the pool was temporarily closed due to a chemical imbalance. Hopefully that’s all sorted now as it would’ve been a great way to cool off after a day of exploring. Just a short 5-10min walk away is a nice little beach area anyway.All in all, Mantra Hervey Bay delivered a solid and enjoyable stay. It’s a great base for families looking to soak up the relaxed coastal vibe of Hervey Bay. We’d happily return!
