Check out what this place has to offer!

    rating16 May 2026

Travelling with pets is becoming easier thanks to accomodation places like this. The owner goes above and beyond to ensure you and your pet have a comfortable stay. We were given a ground floor room with sliding door access to a grass area and nearby reserve. The rooms are very clean, quiet and the beds are super comfortable. A small, but reasonable pet cleaning fee is charged to ensure the rooms are spotless. A lot of thought has gone into equipping the rooms with so many extra items. There is a coffee machine, microwave, plates, cutlery, table and chairs and the bathroom has plenty of additional toiletry supplies for any travellers requirements. The biggest surprise of this motel is the entertainment and games area for families with children. We wished we could have stayed longer to try the bowling.

The Reserve Hotel - 25-41 Princes Hwy, Sale, Australia

    rating05 May 2025

We stayed at The Reserve Hotel in Sale, Victoria Australia for a couple of nights during the Easter break and found that the rooms were very spacious, the bathroom was also very spacious and clean. They provided everything, including things that you would not expect, such as cotton buds, instant noodles. They staff were very helpful and friendly. A couple of days after checking out, I realised that I had accidentally left my earphone cable and adaptor in the bedroom. When I rang the hotel, the person I spoke with confirmed that he had received it from the cleaner and agreed to post it to me free of charge. I got it a few days later (as long as Australia post took to deliver). The experience in this hotel has been a very pleasant. I have nothing negative about it and highly recommend it to others.

    DIRTY DIRTY BAD PLACE!!!!

    rating08 Apr 2022

Do not stay here. We booked as stop over on the way to Melbourne to break the drive with our kids. The photos are misleading. Towels have holes in them, bathroom smelt like wee, pillow cases looked slept on and had dirt!!! I actually felt dirty staying in the room with my small children and can't wait to leave. Loud music and drunk people outside the rooms all night. Bad place for young kids and not family friendly. It's q reserve for DIRTY drug addicts, alcoholics and bogans . So angry we have been mislead. Don't be fooled!!!!!

    Below budget standard

    rating05 Mar 2022

Yes, it's a budget hotel, but what u get is way below budget. First impressions when you drive in, is ok this could work.. stayed second building, top floor. Opon parking we witnessed quite a few , what seemed to be long term residents smoking and drinking out side the rooms on chairs.. brushed it off, as there was lots of road works, maybe they were part of that. From bed time, 9pm ish (kids) thru to 130 am the local residents continued drinking, talking loud and carring on.. wasn't until I opened blinds and window that they realised they need to shut up. The room was out dated, needs a face lift. Not cleaned propley as we found a deroderant can under bed, windows were full of cobwebs and baby spider hatching.. doona for Queen bed was a off coloured doona placed between 2 flat sheets. Deffently not a place to take kids or any family.. the photos do not look like the rooms, don't be fooled like I was

    Terrible, seriously bad

    rating19 Feb 2022

Worst place I’ve ever been - I didn’t actually get out of my car!! (Kim, the owner, still charged me for the night tho, despite having a conversation with her about my serious concerns - no woman should stay anywhere she fears for her safety & being told “they’re great blokes” simply wasn’t reason enough for me to trust her) . As an intrepid solo female traveller, I’ve stayed in some pretty dubious places around the world, but I have never felt more UNSAFE staying somewhere in my life! Seems to be ok for a bloke, doing fifo-style work, as it appears to have several long-term residents doing that. (clothes being dried over fences & railings - not just on the clothes lines) slabs of beer waiting at doorways, a very male-centric motel). But for anyone else, just keep on driving (like I did - and will never regret the decision) . Don’t trust the photos, they were clearly set up specifically for a shoot.
