Location

Located in Surfers Paradise, this hostel/youth hostel is ideal for those in need of an adults-only holiday.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a library. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, a transfer service, a laundry service, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.     Okay if on a very tight budget, very hot rooms with no aircon

    Me and my partner stayed in a private room with shared bathroom for our 2 night stay in Surfer’s Paradise when travelling along the East Coast of Australia. Our room was small, with no air-con and only a fan, so it was extremely hot in there all the time so we did struggle to sleep (colder outside than it was in our room - bare in mind we visited in January). We shared our bathroom with 2 other private rooms which was good, the bathroom was quite big, however very outdated, giving the sense it was a little bit unclean. The kitchen area was limited, with it being a small container in the outside area, it got very stuffy and warm in there, full of flies and not very clean - you also had to give your ID into reception to use any of the pans to cook with. Our food bag in the fridge also went missing…I understand this isn’t a fault of the hostel, however gives you an idea of the kind of people who stay here. Most staff were quite rude, some more friendly than others. The hostel did have a cafe & bar onsite with a pool table ($3 to play and hand your ID into reception for the ques) and darts board. The WiFi also wasn’t very good, turned on and off all the time and didn’t reach our room. It was a good location, walking distance from the centre and transport links. Overall this hostel wasn’t great and would recommend paying a little extra money to stay somewhere a little nicer & cleaner.

    I love this place … They have friendly staff and very friendly people. Their atmosphere is very nice its make me feel like home.. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for the warm welcoming and wonderful services. Cant wait for December as I plan to go back there on my holiday❤️❤️.. Highly recommend for those who looking for a place to stay💯💯💯

    Do not stay here, spend a bit of extra money to stay anywhere else!Our room was filthy when we got there and for the duration of the stay as it was not cleaned daily as advertised. The bed sheets had stains on them and there were squashed bugs all over the walls and floors. Me and my partner both had bug bites on us during our stay, so we’re sure there were bed bugs. Honestly do not stay here.
