  I Truly found the reception service 5 star: I arrived early,and Jason on the desk was so accommodating,bottle of water on arrival, coffee card, had a newspaper to read,whilst i awaited early check in at the pool. When my room was ready my bag was already in the room,which had been upgraded). My room overlooked the beautiful pool,that is what drew my interest ( the pool) The staff treated me so well,I felt kind of special, haha).   Not sure why the reviews aren't higher as we couldn't fault it.PARKING- If you follow the detailed information given to you prior to arrival, you will have no issues.We stayed in an Executive King room on level 19 and it was lovely. Most importantly for me it was clean and modern and had everything we required for our stay.We stayed for 2 nights, but for longer stays it could be a little problematic in regards to the fridge, as it is tiny (there was only room for a bottle of champagne and 2 beers).Other than that, we couldn't fault the room.We really enjoyed the Executive Lounge- Afternoon drinks and canapes were a perfect place to just enjoy the views and wind down and breakfast was a pleasant experience as well.All staff members we interacted with were generally friendly and helpful (A special mention to Daniella in the Executive Lounge who was personable, helpful and efficient).Also a big THANK YOU for the early check in, we were so grateful our room was ready after a long drive.The location was great, we didn't need to drive anywhere. Pacific Fair Shopping Centre just a short walk away as well as plenty of restaurants and cafes.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will definitely return.   A very sleek & modern hotel

  A lovely, clean, modern room, in a very sleek & modern hotel that has shops & restaurants underneath.The large, comfortable bed was bliss!Didn't realise breakfast wasn't actually in the same hotel, which is kind of inconvenient but as we were only here for one night at the start of our travels & we were still jet lagged, we gave it a miss anyway.Squeezy bottles in the shower is a bit odd - not easy to squeeze them when your hands are wet & slippery & the bottles aren't full. Really nice location, near the most amazing beach & plenty of shops, with a nice little green space a short walk over the bridge (or across the very busy road). The hotel itself was very nicely done out with easy underground parking.The pool wasn't very warm so as it was quite windy it got a bit chilly, but it was very nice to swim while looking out over the city.Our room had a good enough view, although there were workmen working on the next hotel & scaling the high windows - not a problem, it's got to be done sometime & it was rather interesting to watch them dangling on their ropes that high up!!The 7-Eleven store opposite does the best vegan sausage rolls I've ever had - an excellent makeshift breakfast when you've missed it & can't find any other vegan food!   Good location, modern and sleek

  We recently stayed here whilst attending a conference and were impressed from start to finish. The service is was welcoming and helpful when assistance was needed The Room: Very modern and sleek although storage space was a little lacking especially if you have an extended stay. The bathroom was a highlight for us—large, clean, and stocked with quality amenities. Amenities: The pool area is expansive and very well-maintained, with plenty of space to relax. Only downside was maintenance being carried out during the day preventing use of the pool (not ideal during school holiday period) Location: We loved the convenience of the location. Being able to walk to the beach, high-end shopping, and dozens of restaurants made our trip so much easier.Executive Level: Definitely worth the extra cost. The breakfast spread was outstanding, and the evening aperitifs/canapés were high-quality and delicious. It provided a nice, quiet sanctuary after a day of exploring. Will definitely be back!"Would most certainly recommend the Dorsett if you looking for something a little more up market that ticks all the boxes.
