    Great position off the tram stop,easy check in. Bedroom big and clean. The food and drink were good,plenty of choice and good happy hour for drink and food. Easy access to beach,would definitely stay here again as staff very helpful and friendly. A good atmosphere all round.     Great hotel and location. The check in experience was great, reception staff are super friendly! Check out was a breeze as well.The apartment we had - sky high residence was really nice. Spacious, clean and comfortable.The only let down was the sofa bed which was not comfortable but the housekeeping staff were quick and responsive and provided a mattress topper which helped.The pool is lovely but the water was very cold, it would’ve been nice to have a temperature controlled outdoor pool so that more people could use it. In contrast the indoor pool was overflowing with guests with the warmer water but it was not a very relaxing experience.Lots of places to eat nearby, the beach is a few minutes walk. Overall, a great hotel - I would stay here again.     Very disappointing stay at Hilton Surfers Paradise.Cleanliness was not up to standard. The toilet was not clean, cigarette butts were left in several places, and overall hygiene appeared to be poorly maintained. The noise level was also extremely high, making it hard to relax.I expected much better and would not recommend this property to others.     I'm a diamond member, so I stay in a lot of Hilton's. I can honestly say that the check in we had from Jaime was the best we've ever had. A perfect combination of friendliness, professionalism and efficiency.We were upgraded to an ocean view suite which was perfect.The location of the hotel is bang in the centre of Surfer's paradise, surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops and a 3 minute walk to the beach.There's a car park under the hotel at a reasonable discounted rate for guests.There's also a choice of FOUR swimming pools to use and a few outdoor BBQs too!We had access to the executive lounge, which was great for a couple of hours of complementary drinks each evening and some snacks.As diamond we took the option of full breakfast in the main restaurant each morning. In the main the selection was fabulous but the one and only thing that slightly let the hotel down was that they only offer chicken sausages each morning. No pork or beef.Aside from this, our stay was perfect. Definitely the best Hilton hotel we stayed at in Australia by some distance and the only one that really honoured all the benefits of being a diamond member.
